Excuse this post. :-). An “extensive global engagement” led by JPM who shorted the Company to within an inch of its life and did not include a share sale as part of “extensive”. Maybe that should read we made a bit of an effort but couldn’t be ar5ed to try EVERYTHiNG in case one of them paid off! Just my musings.

I still find it bizarre that they didn’t want to try a share issue for the 400million last August when they were not backed into a corner. After speaking with Tristan I felt confident that they did not need the money. Had they tried it and failed the fair enough, that avenue would have been exhausted. Had it worked then the shafts and tunnel would have been finished and risk removed.

Be the same Gertfrobe. Frazer plus legal rep and reiteration of letter. Ar5es well covered.

In addition, my reading of the reply to Sharesoc is standard corporate skcollab. legal reply signed by Scrimshaw and Fraser. Nothing short of what I expected.

I think the fact that it was led and guided by JP morgan is my concern. Unbelievable

Molkys, I just think Fraser’s good at his job...sold it to me and many more. He was very enthusiastic as it was his first ceo delivery. Ambitious and enthusiastic but lacking experience. I didn’t have to buy. My fault. :-)

Molkys you are correct. I did read and post but listened to Frasers podcasts. Read up and googled and twittered the life out of it. I went to site twice and spied over the fence. I researched the other companies, the geo surveys and spoke to ex miners/tunnellers. My opinion now is I was sold a dream of firstly money and secondly prospects for the area I was born in and have watched decline for 60:years.
Everyone was a winner. Us, the parks, the locals and the company. Problem......I went in too deep and believed what Frazer said...2 mistakes.:-)

JR, I’ll be ecstatic if it goes to 20p. I’ll have 10 bagged and will withdraw quietly. At my age I can’t be hanging on too long. ;-)

Spent a lot of time on ggp today. It’s almost a rerun of Scotgold. Lower g per ton but it’s Australia so opencast. Not the same draw as Scottish gold and the premium it attracts. Makes me smile at the wild claims they toss about re the sp. 3p today and £2 soon. Doubtful but I suppose you never know, may be some 10kilo nuggets somewhere. ;-)

Looks like shorters need to increase in Anglo....down again.

Ibab,I know the Scottish one is around 11g per ton but carries a premium because it’s Scottish. That’s sitting at around 60p a share and not producing until May. This is a good price to be in at in my opinion. 5% of my portfolio and will doubtless help me out. I think 20p may be achievable.
