Testing is a huge marketplace on all sorts of levels and if Avacta can break into this market with their Affimers they could start to blow the barriers to new innovation down in this area.

Agree and Avacta is selling wholesale not retail and wholesale will look for stock shelves as demand picks up and so will the medical profession. Wholesale has to forward plan/buy so very much based on finger in the air projection guesswork to an extend. The LFT side of Avactas business is not just about Covid it's about other illnesses/diseases and an in house ability to be able to slot our Affimers into the LFT marketplace as time goes on...

These interims are going to be interesting. I also wouldn't rule out another small purchase in the not too distant...

I know 2 people almost certainly gone down with Covid this week having just returned from the UK. Symptoms are standard but neither have tested simply stating they've had Covid before and it's the same so why bother testing.

So that's two who aren't a statistic but also not test buyers.

I also know others who have gone down with suspected Covid and have said they have exactly the same symptoms as before and they've tested (using old kits) and haven't shown up as positive. A couple did test again some 7 to 10 days after symptoms started and they did get a result.

There would be something desperately wrong if a company with a few bob to spend, somewhere in the World, isn't interested in slapping a few quid our way to help us push on with the next trial phase(s) for AVA6000 knowing what we the mushrooms know...those with money to invest will always have access to more especially since our trial is an open one. People talk..people know...people like to think they can make money on the back of their investments...

So the next question is...will the deal be announced before, during or after the Interims...

OK so we are in Phase 1 clinical and didn't we prove concept in the mice trials...and the fact we have managed to increase the standard dox 3 weekly dosage somewhat considerably without the bad side effects also proves concept doesn't it?

D-Geeman...does it have to be human clinical trials...can they put up lab/mice trial data?

Don't forget we have the mice trials as a comparison. If this human trial is following same MOD then there's a good chance it will continue and that will have potentially made it somewhat easier for those involved to decide on next dosage levels etc. So basically they're not working totally in the dark with totally unexpected outcomes.
