Avacta has mentioned Velcade several times in Presentations etc...when referring to 3996...

Japanese major pharma Takeda ($44bn cap) has bought some shares in Avacta

Avactas second pre CISION prodrug is 3996, an analogue of the protease inhibitor, bortezomib.

Takeda markets Velcade, a branded version of bortezomib, in the US.

BV & JT...Sorry my post didn't read very well but the reason I said what I did was because my hubby recently underwent targetted chemo and he was put on a low dose and it was escalated in small increments every 2 weeks up to and including his 6th visit then he was held on that dose for the next 6 visits. So I was wondering whether the 2 weekly dosing is to see if by increasing the dose every 2 weeks they get the same results per cohort.

BV I took him to mean they will start with the dose they used in cohort 3 and they escalate every two weeks by same rate as they did before in 4, 5, 6 and 7 then after 4 cohort escalations they will be at same dosage as 7.

Regarding Patents...they are pretty expensive to sort out, especially on a global scale and for several products at a time. I noticed that one of our recently updated patents was for Australia. As Avacta is responsible for the patent protection on their own products, is it possible that our Licencees/Partners as their products are developed then ask us to go ahead with patent applications etc in vertain countries. Just a thought as I know another company who does just this and only applied for certain countries as they are asked for by their customers.

Literallynoboby...and a heads up as to what is coming...otherwise why even put this statement in...

IF there is a licencing deal being done, then perhaps they are waiting for the FDA granting ODD as further reassurance...

The Avacta SP has risen just over 50% since it lows at the end of July...so that's in less then 2.5 months.

Reporters and Analysists are soooo lazy...now turning to Chatgpt to either write their pieces in full for them or to do the ground works and they do a little tweeking...I know because I personally know one or two contributors to well known publications like Forbes...many openly admit they use Chatgpt also for their 'research'...

Again, from conversations I have had with someone pretty high up in a well known Broker/Nomad he has said that they don't actually know as much about the companies they represent as people might think they do and due to the number of companies they represent it isn't always that easy to find the time to do independant research and so they rely heavily on what the companies themselves put out. He said they also looking in on BB's from time to time and are amazed at what information PI's manage to dig up. He also said fake news is also becoming an issue and again that's why they tend to stick with sources like the companies themselves.

Exactly Flippineck...and 2 weekly dosing could lead to faster cancer reduction/distruction and not give the body time to become dox resistant. Win win..

Yep ARM shares on AIM Jan 2010 were £2. They were bought out by Softbank group In 2016 who listed them on Nasdaq and the shares are trading today at €52.51.

Do we know exactly how many products have or are going through mice trials...that's the key...if they show good results in mice trials then there a good chance they will be available for licence...AVA6000 Is the key to unlocking the PreCISION pipeline. However what trial info is available for Affimers which Avacta has access to...yes it might not be from an inhouse source...

Remember ARM had licence deals with some of the biggest companies in the World yet they managed to remain independant for some years.

I think one point that hasn't really been realised on here is the fact prior to our recent acquisitions Avacta was very much a stand alone company with a couple of licence deals, now we are part of a much larged group of companies when you factor in the two acquisitions and all the large, medium and small companies Avacta represents as a Distributor. What on earth is the dizzy one talking about you might ask.

Through our acquitisions we are now dealing with/representing companies who themselves will be working with BP and it also puts us in front of the medical profession in all sorts of marketplaces from a product supply point of view and again these have direct or in direct contact with BP. It has been stated that Avacta intends to utilise it's affimers in both sides of the business. Affimers will very much be the product linking both sides of the business and this is where the Synergy will be created.

Sheppy...everyone is entitled to their own opinion. They are also quite capable of reading the information put out by the company etc. Many also resort to doing their own research and some share it on BB's like this. If they are making bad decisions based on the above, that is their problem not yours. This is an early stage investment and one would not expect such an investment to come good until the science has gone through all the accepted processes. Yes many products fail at the last hurdle but we all know and accept that risk. To try and convince people the SP is where it is because the product dorsn't stack up or the CEO is over egging is somewhat rediculous based on the facts bit if you think thst so be it...you'd best get out now while the goings good and before we all start to take you seriously and a mass sell off begins...

Of course these Poster Presentations don't and won't move our SP as we would like but they are certainly big discussion openers and Avacta has to be seen to be there especially with the POINT news yesterday.

However...pre|CISION exclusively licensed from

Tufts University Medical School so they hold the IP.

No go figure where all this could lead...

If Avacta are bought out then the IP will belong to the new owner and the licence deals follow the IP to the new owner. They can remain as is with a new caveat to change names or in some cases they are annulled and redone sometimes with no material changes and sometimes with material changes.

Basically no problem...it's all down to the T/O terms/agreement. That's the risk of licencing vs buying out right you never quite know who might be the IP owners down the road...
