I'm actually more than happy with the current 2.50 +/- 20p range. its stability so as I've a decent holding here I know its not going to be badly hurt on paper. Also serves as a great springboard for when the situation changes. And for sure it most certainly has changed one hell of a lot when you take an impartial look at the overview right now.
Those who have truly invested in this company for long term growth and dividends once restored are not going to be disappointed. We now see one sides objectives as being quite achievable in the medium to short term in investment terms. Also not calling this a war means it can much more easily be stopped once those objectives have been achieved, and peace restored. We know that lifting of sanctions will be part of the peace treaty conditions, I would hesitantly estimate that we are already over half way through this conflict and by late fall it will be over. Statistics on interstate conflicts to back this up factually. Most certainly our company has the income, will, personnel and resources to come out of this in a very good position indeed.

Will most certainly aid talks.

Russia may have secured its land link with the Crimea, however the land gain is nothing like they would have liked, and everyone knows that its oil and gas sales to the west are doomed and will cost them huge income streams in the years to come.
However they may now have enough to settle for an end to hostilities, I hope Ukraine would be wise enough to accept it, because they have done a heroic job in retaking land and standing firm against overwhelming odds. Would be foolish for them not to also agree to a ceasefire and worthwhile talks.
Believe peace and lifting of sanctions is now taking a good step forward, which is pretty essential to the many investors here. Both sides have achieved enough to keep their honour intact.

Fair analyst, good factual reporting. Its not easy to get accurate information especially on u tube which is riddled with many over egged reports. Does certainly seem that the Russian forces from a week ago have made some solid progress within the Donbas while ceding some ground to the north which they are mot likely to be able to control.
Although still a little way off we can see a potential endgame in this horrible conflict. One that will at least allow both sides to claim a victory of sorts.

I believe buying excellent recovery stocks like this one is really important as Europe is really falling headlong into a deep recession much heavier than we have seen in our lifetime which will bedriven by raging inflation. Let me share this true example which was shared by my son yesterday who works in designing construction systems that use a lot of pipework.
New pipework costs have just risen a stunning 40%. Things like this have not yet filtered through yet, and we should adopt recovery positions, or invest in stocks which can produce high profits, as margins will certainly become squeezed very soon.

The previous dividends were glorious indeed and once sanctions lifted could not only restart but may reflect some lost amounts in the interim.
However the company cannot currently pay any dividends in any form currently, and is scrupulous in keeping within all sanction rules, as our company does have a big foothold in Russian mining.

As a serious shareholder in our company I support the boards decision not to award a dividend while it cannot be equally distributed to all our shareholders across the three markets that polymetal are listed on.
Indeed it was myself at the last AGM who asked whether dividends could be paid in gold bullion if unable to give cash dividends. It was explained that's its difficult to give small denominations (although mine would be pretty decent), to all holders.
However could I ask you to pass onto our trusted board members to consider offering company shares/or bitcoin as I don't believe these would be subject to any sanctions and would reward all our investors who have invested in our company.
Would appreciate any feedback or views that you are able to give.

Please see the online report and recording of our last AGM meeting where our company gave out the reasons why the dividend was withdrawn. Its actually got nothing to do with company performance. Its because we are listed in three markets and due to current uk sanctions there is not yet a fully legal way to pay those shareholders who invested in this stock on the Moscow exchange. Cannot currently award them their share of the current dividends as a cash award. May be some avenues worth exploring here as I tongue in cheek asked whether we could be rewarded in bullion and for some here that would be indeed a good amount. However I do believe some avenues are still worth exploring here, such as automatic stock purchases or bitcoin. Going to try and follow up with our board.

Straight into my filter list, every post on this stock has been negative, and nothing of value to anyone investing in our company. First one of the trading week and wont be the last.

Taking a neutral standpoint and not being drawn in the horrible specifics of of this conflict which has caused so much pain on both sides, I believe from one week ago we are much further into achieving peace. Clearly the above is demonstrating a will on both sides to help the innocent and children escape. It order demonstrates that talks are going on without others trying to get in on the act, and achieving results.
More ground has been taken by Russian forces in the past week, although the cost has been too high, and Russia is also now saying that they require sanction removal as part of the peace settlement.
They are very close to achieving some goals and I'd be overjoyed to see some really fruitful discussions taking place.
Got a strong feeling that in a few more weeks hopefully we can get a full and proper ceasefire and agreements.
Bodes well for a good week ahead.

yep, seeing some chunky trades going through both sides of the book. Cant believe anyone would be disappointed with what we heard today. company financial fundamentals are an investors dream....Even if they won't pay me a divi in gold bullion....what about bitcoin then ??? tax man would love that... Lol.

Seen some very important company updates with other companies like this one and find some of the major fund managers would take it to a meeting first and discuss the risk/reward aspects before obtaining/ increasing/ decreasing positions. It would normally take a few days. Its only the pi's who currently have this opportunity and not all of them either due to a good few broker decisions.

If we take the production as a rounded down 48 metric tons, a refined market price for that today would be.......and I had to check the figures here.... 2317,000,000 £ GBR. one years production.

Expected gold production from polymetal in 2022 expected at 1.7M ounces...That is 48.194 metric tons.

However apart from the tongue in cheek bit about the bullion, main point is that this is a first quarter report.
As can be seen (and all currencies reflect similar patterns), most of the current gold price increase will not have been fully priced in yet.

I was referring to the actual price of 1oz of gold. This company produces gold....I collect it, even known some cases where deals done with the gold miner direct. .cutting out all the middle men. I'd take that directly as a divi, especially at those prices...we would make a mint.....literally.

I'd have expected to see some even higher profits than this considering gold is up 15%, guess its because the rise in gold price is only this year, so might see these figures continuing to rise.
Still costs us over £1515 for a 1oz/ gold coin.

Sharecast News) - Russian gold and silver miner Polymetal on Monday reported a rise in first-quarter revenue, driven by higher prices and despite a fall in production.

Revenue for the three months to March 31 increased 4% year on year to $616m.

Production of gold equivalent was down 6% to 372,000 troy ounces. Polymetal said it still expected to produce 1.7 million ounces in 2022.

Total cash cost guidance was raised to $850-$950 per gold equivalent ounce from $850-$900.

I'll happily take a divi in bullion.... thats tax free.

RNS was miles better than expected considering share price is 80% down, single digit drop off only, and ore quantities still very impressive and profitable. Bit of news hopefully about the auditor coming at the meeting we hope, and that will be brilliant. Its about as much this company could have achieved.
