I believe this is good news for us, as the IOC's can better represent the case for higher prices for the crude we are producing.

Its currently being exported by truck to every local country with demand, which is in effect several of them.

This is being achieved with the "nod" from Baghdad, as they are already exceeding the OPEC quota without the 2k road tankers a day being tagged to their quota. They think they are smart but no one is fooled.

However Kurdistan officials fully understand the need for continued investment in the oil fields as natural decline with soon strangle the golden goose and they cannot allow that to happen.

Yes Broadford, Think its a lot to do with the quality of the water not just the flow amount. Iraq like a lot of under developed third world countries expects Turkey to improve its own water quality by dilution. As in the old saying " the solution to pollution is dilution".

However its the Iraq's themselves that are polluting their own water supply and then trying to blame Turkey for insufficient flows. Plenty of research done proving how the quality drops.

They put on airs of sophistication with fancy meeting rooms, but at the same time the same people in charge control the rife corruption like unjust fees for carrying goods and liquids across borders. Now we have the strange circumstances where no one in charge of Iraq and Kurdistan wants the crude to go by exported pipeline because they wont then get a cut like they currently are doing.

Baghdad has also got OPEC off its back saying it does not know about the 300K BOPD being trucked from kurdistan.

IOC's lose out, hence so do we, unless we collectively start charging higher fees for the crude and keep a better share.

This has to happen or with natural decline on oilfields all will lose out if it continues.

As we approach the end of the buyback with the dividend being released tomorrow I'm wondering if we will get some updated news to fill the void. Either in the form of current performance/firming of prices or buyback continuing with new funds being released.

UK's biggest supplier exxon mobil via pipeline to the major airports has suffered the worst contamination issue ever with gross crude oil and water in the whole pool. they are trying to source alternative supplies from BP. Just hope you are not planning to fly soon. They are trying to hush it up.

I'm looking forward to the company update and looking to see what scale of increase in sales we are getting , and any information about Croda and scale /size of the take up using our product. Clearly any solid info on returns expected would be ideal but probably not likely.

We've gone from 222M shares in circ to 217M and still dropping daily, decent percentage reduction for a modest outlay. I hope it continues at current pace after these $10M purchases are complete.

I prefer my stance rather than, " you are trousering the proceeds of illegal sanctions busting smuggling of crude oil, for which you can be held to account".

However you may think the latter, and I expect anyone that feels strongly will be asking the company to keep their share of the divi so as not to be involved, perhaps a donation to the local needy.

I myself "couldn't possibly comment ", however I do believe we are most certainly helping the local population as the reported 2000 plus truck drivers and the supporting service infrastructure don't work for nothing, and its much better than "no work", which would happen otherwise.

Are we actually profiteering from corrupt sales, or doing our best to aid a struggling people who are under the heel of Baghdad, many of whom will go out of their way to see them ground down into the dirt due to religious beliefs. wasn't that many years ago they used poison gas and many still remain who did it.

I'd like to think everyone has moved on from that now, however if you dive below the pomp and biscuit munching in seeing actual progress little has changed.

I believe our future does lie with the KRG, who we should continue to work with. Clearly when the export pipeline was stopped a financial shortfall happened and we are owed a great deal of money. However clearly trucking operations are in full swing from all the IOC's and a great deal of the profits are ending up in the KRG pockets.

They can most certainly afford to start repaying their debts to us, and I mean me and you as shareholders. Not expecting it all at once but income being taken in could most certainly reflect that repayment. I have emailed our company in effect asking for them to request it.

Notice its gone quiet about pipeline exports and pulling back operations. Guess production is at full swing especially those loading roadcars.

So I look on it as helping the Kurdish people who are being suppressed deliberately by Baghdad.

In addition hundreds of new contracts have been awarded but very little even started even after years in many cases. Materials vanish, checkpoints want extra transit payments. Iraqis hold up every stage demanding yet more money so planned cost often triples.

What a joke, so what do the Iraqis actually do about it.

Try to cheat those companies that are actually producing something by trying to change contracts, make them work for almost nothing, and imposing transit taxes on crude produced...extorsion.

What signal does that give to those even thinking of starting their contracts???

Then Baghdad is surprised no one wants to deal with them bar the Chinese who see a way to take control.

Clearly no crystal ball, but we do know crude prices being paid are rising due to increasing competition between the truckers. However the company can possibly produce up to 48K bopd, but we must balance that with the planned 3 week outage later this year which if they havn't sufficient storage (which they dont), will cost us half our production.

However if they choose to give out a divi could well be another this year. If we get part of what we are owed could be a windfall divi.
