You are 100% correct here. Even an oncologist can’t grasp the prelim data issue. Part way through trial??? They have 18 months of data!!!!!!!! That poster lost all credibility with that statement. Add to your examples, Shasqi were a recent highlight. Fantastic data set - transparent.

AS does nothing to support the financial strategy of the business in terms of comm’s, which unfortunately what this market measures. Cash is king.

Easy MB - trials will work that out. Agreed, in concept, and I’m sure that’s why P1b has been designed to give us as much data as possible, to reach that moral conclusion.

The quantum leap is AVA6000 prolonging life. Liposomal dox (Doxil, myocet) is the only approved form that has been approved to show significant change to baseline. And this is very modest. Current PFS for standard dox is around 4.5 months. It would miracle type stuff if AVA6000 could triple, even double that figure.

Advice. All of the concerns you have played have been quantifiably dismissed in that slide deck. Either accept the reality or find a new angle. I can guess which way you’ll go.

I suspect they weren’t sure what cancers or stage of treatment the patients would be. Also acts as a circuit breaker, should the worst happen and it didn’t work. I.e. huge dox load uncleaved on administration.

Huge point realised from my second viewing. Treatment continuation. If we can continue dosing due to an improved safety profile, OS could be improved dramatically, whilst sparing debilitating effects of the standard drug. I.e. 18 cycles could give the patient a chance to be treated with a ‘cure’ whilst being stabilised by AVA6000.

I think that’s moot RAH, as these patients are 4,56th line treatment and have no chance of survival. Hard to measure that. Plus, the cancer types chosen are most likely dox naive, as pointed out by a Chris Twelves. AVA was never expected to make a difference to their outcome.

I think we are Rip, hence Fiona presenting said data at one of the cancer roadshows. Presentation shows we’re into PDX land, effectively same stage as AVA, pre IND. The IND being a formality.

Yep. P1b will deliver the results of a typical P2(plus). Certainly the most important news in that deck.

We knew it worked well. Now we know where their heads are. A take over - P1b data will contain some P3 deliverables.

Regards 3996 licence - I’m not so bullish. £50m would be a large figure for a preclin asset. And the fact it hasn’t been licences to date suggests AS places a higher value on it, or it’s a struggle/too early.
