PCR tests are not carried out to detect infectiousness as a result. They confirm Covid status, which is ran at Ct40.

On a scale, The infectious viral load detection is confirmed using 27 cycles (Ct27).

Again;

PCR confirms you are infected with Covid. This requires 40 cycles to prove.

LFT are used to confirm you are/not infectious. This is accepted based on performance against the infectious range, as above.

It doesn’t matter. This fascination with an incomparable product is pointless. Ct40 is universally accepted as the baseline for confirmation you have Covid.

Infectiousness detection will enable. LTF’s serve this purpose. Totally different products and outcomes.
