We have our own capacity through GAD, ABDX and EU. HMG have theirs. If they chose to procure our test using their machines, this will be a good thing. I’m sure you won’t sell your shares out of principle, if it does happen.

Avacta are still talking to PHE, he said so in the most recent communication. A test that uses HMG manufacturing capacity has not yet been chosen. Until then, it could be us. If not, then we move on.

Selling to HMG has always been in addition to EU/overseas. Two distinct manufacturing routes. Why not have both if we can? Pride is what stops people supporting a HMG connection. ‘They don’t pay their bills…’ they paid Innova.

Although Mologic designed/developed our test, it shouldn’t take longer than a few hours for TT to ABDX, based on this pic. So many similarities.

Appreciate your info Doze. As you know, our test is qualitative as it indictates presence of the target antigen (via coloured strip), not how much (quantitative) is present.

As you suggest, I do believe that making it quantitative should be easier based on how sticky our Affimers are, and Spike detection.

Abingdon have the tech (AppDx) to interpret qual strip feedback and transpose it into quantitative data, presenting the user with an ‘infectious’ reading. Wouldn’t that be clever…

Why is NCYT and PCR even a prolonged discussion on here? PCR does not intrude on our market.

Agent - PCR usage is a different purpose. Infectiousness detection will be used from next month, delivered by LFT’s. Ct 40 is correct for PCR, to confirm if you have/have not got Covid.

LFT’s of Avacta are not advertised on a scale you think they should be. When was the last Innova ad, or flowflex ad?

The market has not yet switched to consumers having to care about LFT. UK or not. It’ll switch next month.
