Much ignorance dressed up as knowledge by some here. The recent provision by Cairn, is exactly that a provision, which can be used to offset tax ot to set a lower profit to be cashed in at some future date, (provisions work both ways!) Other than that nothing has changed, Enquest recently updated on production & that remains unchanged, as does fcf etc. In fact since then poo has strengthened, so those fools calling this down, are clearly clueless. No doubt they will disappear into the ether once this current turbulence is properly understood.

Im a long time holder, but very short on postings. So much informed opinion here, so many thanks to all those who do take the time to contribute. No doubt those banging on about dilution, will enjoy their moment when st2 is announced, but surely a case of cutting off their noses to spite their face ? Surely the institution that funds ST2, will gain shares in some sort of instrument well below the current sp, otherwise they would be grossly amiss not to be buying in at the current level. I guess this institution will want their cake & to eat it, so in my opinion their will be dilution, to accommodate st2, but needles to say the project will be massively derisked, so all shareholders will win. I would not be surprised to see a 50% uplift, once the ST2 dust has settled. Hopefully a win win for everyone.
