In fairness to GK he was pumping the sp pre Stage 1, wiser voices like sageman warned of the dangers & the rest is history. I wouldn’t read too much into GKs offerings, at the end of the day he knows no more than the next person, at least he is taking a more cautious view this time around.

On Bloomberg this week, a big cheese from Allianz was asked what she thought of the oil price. She replied other than the effect on inflation, not really bothered, as an institution they regard this sector uninvestable because of the huge volatility. I guess this goes for a lot of investors..

To be consistent with its market leadership strategy, as boulby will be uneconomic v woodsmith, ICL will either exit the polysulpate market or take a strategic position with sxx. That’s if they are true to their word. Exciting times.

Had a chat with a construction manager last night, who is currently drilling boreholes upto 150m depth into aquifers to supply water for processing into domestic water. What caught my attention was when he mentioned the hundreds of millions the water company’s are spending on cleaning up contaminated water from fertiliser run off. Hopefully poly with it’s slow release & organic status will help this sorry situation.

On face value the poly field trials, look really positive, but I’m not a scientist so not the best to judge them. I read over on advfn that the trials are basically flawed, because they don’t take into account the weight of poly used? It’s a given that poly has lower concentrations of the main elements v mop, so in the real world will farmers have considerably higher spreading costs (assuming if used straight). I’m hoping this is not an issue, but an honest answer would be appreciated.

Given the weather conditions, maybe they are wishing they had’nt boosted up production? I’m sure plenty of contingencies in place ....

Ultimately value outs, just need to be patient (easier said than done). Since the results I’m happy to sit this one out.

On the other hand Pmo not too tardy in picking up Eon assets for a song & I dare say Zama maybe worth a few quid on a minimal investment. Likewise ENQ, picked up Magnus for just over 100m nav 5 times that. Bit of balance please.

There are so many penny shares (Sxx included although in 250), where posters give so many reasons why these companies are undervalued & generally should be valued in £’s rather than pence. I guess in many ways SXX posters have a similar mindset. Although I think SXX is a brilliant proposition, the concept is simple, the execution anything but, maybe we should all be a bit more prudent before making future sp predictions (I am as guilty as the next man or woman).

For what it’s worth AB with regards to efficiency alluded that FPSO lease costs were linked to it. I saw it as 60% efficiency 60% of lease charge etc. This would further confirm that Bumi aren’t challenging reservoir geology

AB talked about efficiency quite frequently. I recall him saying that Kraken was operating at circa 60% efficiency & aiming to get it up to the average of c 80%. Can anyone please explain in common language what he means. ie if kraken is producing 21k at 60% or is 100% 50K. Maybe he made it deliberately confusing so there is more flexibility in interpretation?
