Managed a cheeky top up at 37p. That’ll be a bargain by end of play today.

I didn’t sleep that much last night haha. It’s funny but I just feel happier for the company than I do my own wallet. Samsung very well could’ve wiped Nanoco off the face of the planet. Now we have justice and a very very bright future ahead, I just don’t see the use in an appeal when it’s very obvious the message a total clean sweep of decisions sends out.
When the news drops today there is likely going to be a lot more hype here. Likely a few traders too diluting what has been a wonderful discussion here for the past 18 months I’ve frequented the board.

A resounding message to Samsung today has been sent. What a sham of a defence they have set up and so it has been revealed.

BTB comments like this expose you as a bit of a clown. There isn’t going to be a TR1 announcing a whole 1% of the entire company holdings has been got rid of, when only 300k shares have changed hands today!

Hello all just thought I’d check in and say ‘still here’ and still holding. Great news today. Absolutely astounding figures for those most at risk, a group of people that all other drugs has failed to properly reach. Credit to the team it has to be said.

Precisely where it puts us in terms of the SP I don’t know. It significantly raises the prospect of a buy out IMO and will continue to hold. May take a while to discover true value. There will be a lot of salvage hunters amongst the LTHs looking for an exit. Still hurts to think about that day but today goes some way to addressing all that went wrong.

After hours is the most likely. A shame as I was really hoping if I kept refreshing I could get a cheeky top up in before the markets cottoned on if result is good.

May have to just put my money where my mouth is and take the plunge on Monday. I’m wary but my instincts are telling me a little more exposure here I needed, considering the upside on offer.

Same here feeks it’s been a torrid 12 months for me with SNG going to badly wrong after all signs pointed the other way! I feel hopeful that Nano could save my portfolio and it accounts for a quarter of all my holdings but equally I am realistic and a little cautious, have to check myself when the optimism gets a bit too fizzy!! I remember in a previous post you said you’d given up on ‘gambling’ in stocks after Nano hit all time lows in 2020. Is this no longer the case BTB?

Which website are people using to check on the patents situation? I wonder if us sleuths can get the info before it’s RNSd if we have the right sources?

It will require new explanations of previous evidence, of that I’m sure. Unless they can successfully ‘clarify’ whatever evidence the previous PTAB has been deemed to have missed, then I don’t see how they can reach a different conclusion compared to the first PTAB. So there must surely be a reframing of previous evidence or ‘polishing of the turd’ if you will.

But I guess this is a cart before the horse discussion until we have a verdict!

Yes that’s how I read it Hawi. I guess the point I was driving at is that an appeal seems vastly more likely to fail than the initial arguments given they will have exhausted all the concocted tripe they presented in the first place and won’t have much left to go on. They are a quality legal team with impressive CVs so I have no doubt they will bring something to the table to help them lodge an appeal but the point I was getting at is that an appeal isn’t just getting a ‘second opinion’ as it were but rather bringing new evidence or new grounds.
Totally agree that an appeal is likely to happen though.

Really important to remember that a PTAB appeal can’t just happen because Samsung don’t like the verdict. New arguments/grounds must be brought before the panel for investigation/consideration. I don’t know where that leaves Samsung’s team to be honest but I should imagine they’ve exhausted the pre existing literature haha

I assume you don’t own Nano stock any more in that case BTB? If you believe your own assessment of the situation, no sane investor would. Either that or you are being disingenuous, which is especially morally questionable at a time when investor jitters are already at an elevated pitch with such big news on the horizon.

Everyone on this board has been subjected to your ‘doubts’ on an almost daily basis. Can we please now work on the assumption we understand the bearish case and move on? Thank you.

I suppose the danger with a company like Nano is that the products for which this tech is applicable are so complex from a design, manufacture and supply chain point of view that the chances of projects not reaching commercialisation is sadly quite high. It’s not like we are producing garden sheds here. When you think about your average phone, consider the steps and the incredible symbiosis required for that product to come to fruition, you can easily see how a project can fall apart, especially if a large company starts having jitters about dealing with a small company like Nano who are as yet unproven when it comes to commercial production.
Coupled with at present unhelpful exemptions on planet trashing chemicals for display production you can see how the headwinds are pretty relentless for Nano. Proving commercial viability with STM, if it happens, will be a major turning point for us. Proving we own our own IP will be another.

Definitely not likely band more idle musing than anything else. But obviously the decision on PTAB is being made in the US, where tomorrow is not a bank holiday. Would Nano RNS this on a bank holiday Monday even though the market would be shut? Thanks

Should our patents be affirmed I see two levers of power that our legal team will have no doubt considered as part of their strategy
A) pursue Samsung in multiple jurisdictions, seeking junctions in European territories more likely to grant them
B) pursue all companies in the supply chain that have conspired in their production. Nanosys and Hansol are surely in their sights.
This will surely be enough to force Samsung to the negotiating table. They really didn’t bank on us being so strongly backed legally and things could escalate quite quickly off the back of a PTAB in our favour.
