For starters, our 'basic pensionable pay' isn't �25k. They're probably presuming the '50 yr old' has been with RM for 30 or more yrs already and will retire at 65. If you think a one off 81k and 12k yr for probably another 15yr if we're lucky before we keel over after being a postie for 45 yrs, is reasonable? That's 150,000 miles of walking in all weather. Why it took almost an hr and a half to come up with that I don't know, because there isn't much in it to explain to the public and investors just why there has been such an overwhelmingly high yes vote. So they want to delay any strike action till after Christmas now, rather than get on with getting a realistic deal done! This is only going to cause more uncertainty for our customers. First time I've looked at this but from what I can see, isn't it the rights issue fund raising which has diluted the share by circa 20% so a drop was bound to happen, tempered by the accusation they raised funds for. I stand to be corrected by any regulars here thought. Thanks.
