I see Tim's other company MTL are up 19% this week so he can't be the kiss of death! Apologies to Tim but all your ORR shareholders are really, really fed up!

It's since risen 34% but no other comments! And, so far, no sign of its major competitor going bust but time will tell.

Timing is everything and I hope LOGP's claim is settled within the 3 months requested. Highly unlikely but it might be in the Irish Government's interest to settle quickly. Not that any civil servant is going to care how many £millions procrastination costs. Looking further ahead, LOGP could be a good investment as a cash shell - who knows?

The SP is not being manipulated! The constant decline is down to an almost total lack of interest. If it were being steered downwards to enable those in the know to buy cheaply where are they? One decent buy and the SP would rocket! With around 62% of shares NIPH tiny buys and sells have a disproportionate impact. On the other hand, if anyone wants to buy a chunk of ZIOC then Shard will be very pleased to meet you!

I'm invested as a binary bet and hope that any dilution is more than made up for by multi-bags eventually.

It's all a question of timing and Directors obviously got it wrong buying @ 0.21p but it's all relative.

All very depressing! Are we headed towards a new 52 week low? Doesn't make any difference to LTHs who have already bought their tickets in the hope of a happy ending. My PF's down 64% since June which is marginally better than ZIOC's 77% plunge from its 52 week high.

Off-topic but I'd be interested in your thoughts on Cameroon as I'm invested there via ORR who I'm hoping will be the next GGP - somebody has to be sooner or later!

Sad to report a comment after I posted "Any seller care to comment why they're selling? " has been removed. I can't remember who posted it but it reflected negatively on the BOD. Are they beyond criticism? I hate to say it but we're all in this together and the sooner the gold is found the better!

Welcome aboard Jakey72! ORR definitely needs to attract new shareholders after the LTHs have been left up a well known creek! If all goes well your £800 could turn into £80,000 but don't quote me! At the same time, it's hard to see you making a loss and you're welcome to bank profits after the first good news for ages doubles the SP. That has been ORR's eternal problem: every rise is sold into. Sooner or later that must change.

You're far too clever for the likes of me, Makeabundle! Never could stand anything said "tongue-in-cheek" but that's the Aspie in me and not your fault. I'll just disappear back into the woodwork and await my jackpot however long it takes. I'm awaiting several others so it's no great hardship for the proprietor of a binary bet portfolio.

Hopefully the jackpots won't all arrive at once but that's better than no jackpots at all.

Any seller care to comment why they're selling? I thought we were making progress with talk of the next GGP but I expect it was much the same for them at this stage in the proceedings. What if ORR discovers more gold than has ever been discovered before? That will be very interesting!

Thanks Catbert! The prospect of "silly multiples of £4.5m." is what keeps me invested and I've always hoped ORR could turn into the next GGP. I note your comments on GCAT and had already been shopping for a bargepole except it definitely looks cheap! Regardless, I'd have to sell something in order to invest and I'd prefer to stick with the dogs I already own. Losing patience can be extremely expensive!

LOGP remains a binary bet and a possible goldmine.

I'd like to think the final outcome won't take several years to resolve and the elephant in the room is a change of policy by the Irish Government. Having divested BEY and LOGP of Barryroe, offering a new licence would certainly muddy the waters! Bring it on!

What a mess! The BOD have painted ORR into a corner and all us LTHs can look forward to is "With one bound, ORR was free!" Which, admittedly, could happen.

Lately I've been researching GCAT who are actually producing gold yet are valued only slightly more than ORR.

I'd like to think GCAT is undervalued if they're making over $700 an ounce profit.

The alternative is ORR disappearing up its own fundament and Eileen wishing she'd joined a more successful gold miner.

Or maybe ORR are very misunderstood and will deliver the goods eventually?

Certainly, a cash injection from a major miner would be transformational - watch this space!

I'm not here for "the playful and friendly exchange of teasing remarks" which means 200p is a serious target. Not long ago somebody said on here that every share in ZIOC was linked to $726,000 of Iron Ore. Don't ask me to provide details or the context but it stuck in my mind and makes 200p look ridiculous! Not that ZIOC shareholders will ever see "true value" but I wouldn't expect to. If the takeover offer comes in @ 50p I expect we'll all be grateful for the opportunity to move on while the buyer quadruples his money almost overnight. At the same time, if that were to happen, GLEN and the ZIOC BOD could both be accused of not acting in their shareholders' best interest. Surely much less trouble to accept 200p which everyone would agree was "generous" and still make £billions further down the line?
