Barely blue after 9 trades - how high would it rocket after 90? Can't understand why anyone would sell at this level unless they think ORR is heading down the plughole. Can anyone who's given up on ORR explain their decision? I'm feeling more confident than ever! Seriously. Finance problems don't change how much gold there is in them thar hills and ORR have found gold in unusually high concentrations which never gets mentioned. At the same time, why haven't those high concentrations attracted a major miner? I wish I had a degree in Geology.

..And Other Investments: as the proprietor of a largely binary bet portfolio I was pleased to see the first jackpot materialise this week. Unfortunately, it wasn't the jackpot I was expecting as things hadn't gone according to plan - when do they ever? IIP's largest asset was valued @ £176m and they sold it for $10m + a 33% interest in the company that "bought" it. I exited with a 45% profit but I was expecting so much more! None of that reflects on ZIOC except I have lowered my expectations by 50% - I'll now be happy with a 100p takeover. I'm sure it will be discussed at the next board meeting: "If beardozer's only expecting 100p let's go for it!"

Don't you need to deduct all the debts before arriving at 7p per share? See recent RNS about how much they owe!

If you hold shares and are looking to sell, you should be able to do this online. If not, please call us on the number below and we will do this without the additional phone dealing charge." IMHO, investing in IIP is simply not worth the hassle especially with the ludicrous spread - there are far easier ways to lose money!

I trade through ii and have had problems with IIP for several months (see previous posts). Eventually, they said they would not enable me to buy any more shares but if I had any difficulty selling online I was to phone them and they would waive the £49 telephone dealing fee - which they did! It has not been possible to trade IIP online through ii for some time due to No Regulatory Documents Available so if they've charged anyone £49 it might be worth asking for a refund.

I'm not au fait with Irish politics but surely even the Greens can't argue with paying compensation for agreements from a previous era which have been reneged? It's legal, not political.
