"buying yourself out"? Many billionaires have never averaged down. They much prefer to sell too soon. Muppets like you and me "keep the faith" instead of selling when we were a maximum of 20% down. Lessons learned. I own 600,000 shares and I'm not selling at this price. Or buying more - why would you compound your previous mistakes? Much better to invest in a different company at a bargain price and "spread" your risk. Of course, one no-hoper is much like another...

The "profit" was a technicality - keep issuing shares and the "profits" will accrue even further! Shame on me for not spotting that at the time but I have more than enough on my plate. What's interesting is UOG are involved in a RTO and I wonder if the enlarged company might be interested in taking over PXOG at a bargain price as UOG/PXOG share an interest in an Italian oilfield. To my untutored eye PXOG does look very undervalued but WTFDIK? I also thought EDR was undervalued in relation to UJO and it duly rocketed on Friday. Shame I didn't back my judgment! Spurred on by vindication I bought ORR where Buys outnumbered Sells 17-1 and the SP fell. The rising price of Gold makes all mining minnows look much more attractive. The US lowering interest rates to help Trump win again will simply fan the flames of Inflation. And the inevitable chickens will surely find their way home.

Up to a point. I'm also invested in LOGP where much is made of so few shares being available but it's up and down like a bride's nightie! Maybe the final surge will make all the difference?
I'll be happy to exit with a 200% profit. Meanwhile, ERIS is off the radar (whatever that means) otherwise knowledgeable investors would be buying consistently and driving the SP upwards. Maybe they're doing their best? I am not a knowledgeable investor but ERIS is the second biggest dog in my Kennel. I have to see a man about another dog but I'm hoping to buy 30% cheaper than the current SP so can't name names. Pleased to see the SP fell today so that narrows it down a bit. Place your bets!

Only joking but yesterday, funnily enough, I was enjoying the sea air in Southwold on one of the hottest days of the year (but don't tell Trump). And I wasn't wearing a hat. Post-Boris Johnson elected PM - YES! At least in the short -term but everything depends on 31st October - or was it the 32nd? Do "we all have to agree to it"? I thought it was a "democratic" vote based on number of shares held equalling number of votes. My personal nightmare is ZIOC edging up towards £1 per share with no concrete offer. Like many other LTHs, £1 would be a life-changing amount for me and I'd be stupid not to bank some profits but if it continued to rise into the stratosphere I'd be gutted.
Much better a takeover offer from a Chinese company. And a counter-offer from another Chinese company not willing to lose face. Happy days! Who cares if both companies are owned by the Chinese Government? It's the bonkers world we live in.

I'm not sure how things are going to unfold but Gold is starting to seem a good investment despite my disagreement with MoneyWeek's continuing recommendation to hold 10% in your PF . What's more worrying is a General Election which leads to Corbyn becoming Prime Minister. I support Socialist principles but it will lead to a rapid rise in interest rates, the pound plunging (before rising) and the UK Stock Market plunging (and possibly continuing to plunge).

You make some very good points! And there is certainly "plenty going on". Not least the question about the correct spelling of PXOG's largest shareholder's surname. If you're correct he might own the largest independent dairy company in the UK but there are plenty of other people with the same name. What your information does prove is Ockerhillian's failure to differentiate Nominee Accounts from Institutional Investors.

I added AML to my Watchlist a few days ago and it's risen ever since! But I still think it's overpriced! Maybe I'm wrong but Aston Martin doesn't have to keep making stupidly expensive cars. In a post-Brexit world where tariffs will have a huge impact maybe Aston Martin can surprise everyone with an affordable car that undercuts the EU opposition? Post-Brexit Backing Britain will really mean something.

What makes you think Institutions own 67% of PXOG? And who is Simon Chanter, PXOG's largest shareholder? How happy is he with the SP performance?

Only wish I'd sold @ 13p and bought back @ 9.5p - a free £6,650 for pressing two buttons but who can afford to be out over the weekend? £6,650 might've cost me £1m but I've been thinking that for far too many years. Sooner or later £1m will appear in my account and then I can invest for income and stop worrying about ZIOC.

Right again! Not sure why anyone could think PXOG is worth investing in. Apart from the ancient axiom about investing while others are fearful etc. It's OK to say that once you're a billionaire and you can afford to lose $millions.

It is not the done thing to recommend other investments but as I assume you're American I'll refrain from insulting you - shame your President is nowhere near being such a gentleman.

I was commenting on the UK domestic market. As far as I know DHL is international and doesn't deliver Amazon parcels. I may be wrong as it's been many years since I worked as an agency driver for DHL. £500 per week for doing very little is my main memory but it was a very long day.

...has Woodford invested hundreds of £millions in RMG yet? Probably not or the SP would be over 250p. He's reported to be investing in income stocks and you couldn't find a better one than RMG.
Future yield at 250p is at least 6% and possibly much more despite negative comments. Who wouldn't want to invest in the further growth of Internet sales? Picks and shovels etc. RMG could end up as the only player as competitors go bust. I've noticed some of my Amazon parcels have recently been arriving in a Deliverwize van - their "employee" reviews look very suspicious! No proper courier would ever comment on the weather!

Been watching EDR for a long time with a view to investing but can't help thinking it has further to fall. Energy Security ought to be worth £billions but a few protesters can halt progress.
