Yes, many thanks for all your input. Your mention of free rides reminds me of how badly I've handled previous successful investments! Of which there have been very few. Back in 2011 I was a SAR investor when they "discovered a cure for cancer". I sold over half of my holding on the first day and banked a 93% profit. Next day I sold another chunk and banked a 641% profit. Next day I sold another chunk and banked an 886% profit. 10 months later I finally bailed out with a 445% profit. This teaches us nothing as every case is different but I'm hoping ZIOC rewards me 2000%. And you only need one or two of those investments to set you up for life. As for the question from an earlier correspondent about how I arrived at £2 or even better £3 - DYOR! i.e. compare Mkt. Caps. of other Iron Ore companies producing X tonnes with ZIOC's expected outputs (1-18) over the coming years. Our best hope is a Chinese takeover at such a breath-taking price GLEN would bite their arm off. Worst hope is GLEN continuing to sit on the Zanaga Project - OK for them as a corporate entity but I'm flesh & blood!

I like the sound of "explosive". It's time I quadrupled my investment. Negative interest rates for mortgages must be good for Gold. And good for the Property Market? What could possibly go wrong? We're living in a very strange world where bond investors would prefer to lose a certain amount of money rather than risk investing in equities offering a far higher dividend. Presumably because they're expecting their value will slump?

Except anyone would think Management's objectives were already aligned with the shareholders? It would appear not:

Meanwhile, after reading a link on here I've been comparing ZIOC to FXPO and it depressed me but there are reasons for FXPO's low valuation (a PE of 4.5). Recent financial scandal + it's mostly owned by an oligarch + it's in Ukraine. Whereas ZIOC could be valued at a much higher PE particularly if Iron Ore prices continue to rise. I trust Management to obtain the highest possible price for our shares: £2 would be acceptable but £3 would be amazing! Whoever paid £3 could still look forward to £7 further down the line... I'm happy with £2 and the sooner the better as there's a former railwayman's cottage in Western Scotland just waiting for me to buy it. Plus a Porsche 356 worth more than the house!

Had to smile when I read your aversion to Tick Tock! Of course, with every investment TIMING IS EVERYTHING - maybe you're annoyed by that as well? Only half-joking, as that is the only way any investor makes any money. Buy high, sell low too many times and you're wiped out. Buy low, sell high and you're suddenly an expert. In PXOG's case (and in many of my other investments much to my annoyance) Tick Tock merely represents the time existing shareholders must wait until their investment is proved to be a good one by the arrival of The Herd. Or maybe the fundamentals suddenly improve which is what I'm hoping for. I am 100% convinced PXOG is chronically undervalued but until enough punters agree with me the SP is going nowhere.

Everyone needs to get out more - contemplating the decline in the PXOG SP can be very depressing for existing shareholders. But, as we all know, every dog has its day and this could easily double with some unexpected good news.

Definitely life-changing for me so I'm very disappointed the Chinese came, they thought they saw a bargain but bought GNK. Surely ZIOC would've been a far better investment? For many years GNK has been a property company with a brewery attached and I'm sure the Chinese are mainly interested in the value of the properties. But who'd invest in UK Property now? Massive Slump Ahead! If only they'd spent the same money buying ZIOC instead it would've been worth £9.54 per share. £1.8m to me!

£2.7bn for a property portfolio worth £4.5bn so the beer business is a freebie. It will be sold to another brewer - how about BrewDog? I predict half the pubs will be closed within 3 years as they're worth far more as redevelopment opportunities than they are as watering holes.

I'm not interested in Twitter et al but millions are. It's a shame ZIOC's fortunes could float or sink on or under their waves. Where are the fundamentals? I was amazed to learn yesterday that it's possible to get a mortgage in Denmark with a negative rate of interest. Are we living in Wonderland where ZIOC's Iron Ore could also have a negative value? Let's hope ZIOC is paid $billions not to mine it!

I have to admit I have ncreased my holding by 73% against my better judgement. If all of us LTHs did the same it might add a tiny fraction to the SP. Flogging a dead horse or buying incredibly cheaply?

What can anyone say? PXOG is where it is. Market conditions aren't helping - the appetite for risk has almost completely disappeared. The odd share hitting the # 1 Top Riser spot with a few hundred trades doesn't hide the fact that hundreds of thousands of punters have abandoned trading on the Stock Market. I'm eager to join them! As soon as ZIOC hits the jackpot I'll be investing the proceeds in Investment Trusts and letting their Managers do the worrying for me.
But I'll also keep £20k in a Trading Account - that would currently buy over 16m shares in PXOG!

Pretty much sums up the lack of interest in Mining Minnows despite Gold doing well. If it really takes off (and it probably will!) then any gold miner and his dog will attract interest (hopefully!)

Unfortunately, as someone famous once said, in the long run we are all dead. How much longer can this drag on? I've been waiting many years already. Why can't GLEN decide what to do with their stake in the Zanaga Project? Presumably it's not currently worth what they're prepared to sell for? And is it currently not worth spending £billions developing it? No wonder the SP is where it is! Is buying a share in ZIOC a very long-dated option on untold wealth in the 22nd Century?

Just to clarify, I was referring to GLEN apparently shooting themselves in the foot by increasing Cobalt production which surely contributed to prices falling. A bit like OPEC driving down the price of Oil - how can pedalling faster to stand still make economic sense? While I might moan about ZIOC I am a committed LTH who's been invested for far too long! Still, a life-changing investment doesn't appear very often so let's hope we don't have too much longer to wait.

I can only agree with you. The "big loss" does weigh heavy. I'm very reluctant to pour in more money after being burned by other no-hope oilies (eg. KEA). I'm sure plenty of punters will make a quick 100% when the Pump'n'Dump Brigade arrive and Good Luck to them!

would stop appearing... For my part, I've never viewed ZIOC as a company, more a piece of paper in a filing cabinet in Glencore's basement. I always hoped Glencore would maximise their investment and therefore ZIOC shareholders would also benefit but the SP doesn't reflect this. News of Glencore increasing their output of Cobalt by 28% while prices plunged speaks volumes. A bit like digging your own grave or turkeys voting for Xmas.

Only 8.4m shares in issue and the Directors own 29%. I wonder how many shares there'll be a year from now? And will the Directors maintain their percentage?

That can be a problem for all of us! At last I can reveal I invested in ORR which reminds me a bit of ERIS but I could do without the Pump'n'Dump Brigade. Other miners have managed to rise 200-300% without too much trouble.
