...a 5,000,000 buy didn't move the SP - how many more shares are stacked up in the MMs' cupboards?
I own 2,000,000 shares and I remain confident something positive will happen sooner or later.
Can't help supporting the underdog but the SP needs to rise substantially to get me back to square 1 let alone any profit.

Hopefully not. It was interesting that after the recent RNS the SP only fell 39% which indicates Mr Market still sees value here. Yesterday TOM was the best performer in my PF but that says more about my other no-hopers than it does about TOM. DYOR and always remember: if you want to make a small fortune on the Stock Market make sure you start with a large one. And I love the joke about fund managers: "Where are the customers' yachts?"

I was hoping after the previous week's 13% rise the momentum would continue but the rest is history. FWIW I think ZIOC will hit a new 52 week high in January after one or two Top Tips For 2020 in the national press.
On this occasion I'll be joining them! With the potential upside there's no logical reason why the ZIOC SP isn't 20p already. But, of course, the Market always knows best - Grrr!

A surprisingly muted response to PVR's top dog quitting. Someone thought the news was worth buying 700,000 shares in LOGP. Not me. I'm feeling less confident than I was about Barryroe ever being developed. Let's hope the ex-Tullow men who've borrowed a billion can arrive like the cavalry and save our necks. Any further Chinese interest will not be taken seriously which could cost us dear. Only hope APEC have lost so much face they're given the cold shoulder from now on by every Chinese bank. As if they're not all state-owned...

Because Centerra Gold has terminated their partnership with ERIS whose Mkt. Cap. is now below its cash in the bank. £1.12m vs. £1.36m. Would I be 24 hours late finding out WW3 had started?

You make a good point but timing is everything. I bought TOM on two occasions and my average is 1.65p which I'm not interested in lowering! Very high risk but anything could happen.

Very interesting article but nothing about the bigger picture. I'm hoping the future demand for copper will be so strong the ARCM SP will stop going down (and might even rise). Sarcasm was never my strong suit.

It's like watching rats leaving a sinking ship except surely ERIS is unsinkable? Very few shares in issue and too many sellers can be expensive but it should work in reverse when buyers return.

How many hundreds of punters are relying on ZIOC to fund their retirement? It does look a good bet so it's a shame a few institutional investors can't bring themselves to take an interest and boost the SP. I'd even settle for a hedge fund (one of which owns 28% of LOGP which I'm hoping could outperform ZIOC).

You make some very good points. Particularly about the "green agenda" which is in danger of shooting itself in the foot. XR protesters attempting to halt electric trains springs to mind. Of course the big question is why no major oil company has been interested in Barryroe for the past 7 years. But Ireland closing down their natural resources in order to import energy from elsewhere is plain stupid. LOGP is my second largest holding (10% of my PF after ZIOC at 64%!)

At the moment the barrels of oil LOGP are hopefully sitting on are valued in pennies. The downside is how much you can afford to lose while the upside could be a 100-bagger.

Like most of us you spout a load of rubbish with the occasional important insight. Yes, future oil & gas exploration in Irish waters will end but existing prospects are still ripe for development. Stating "Total know this and are pulling out" is true but also misleading as you well know. The "and" links the two facts but there may well be no connection. Yes, Total has withdrawn from a deal with PVR which has nothing to do with Barryroe. It's definitely not "time to cash in the chips and take it on the chin" - I'm 90% sure a Barryroe deal will be done. In an ideal world both PVR and LOGP would be taken over by a bigger player and it's a mystery why it hasn't happened already. It's interesting that whenever LOGP plunges there is no shortage of buyers! And I estimate only 50% of LOGP shares are in public hands so share price movements can be extreme.

This week I increased my holding by 59% but I know it's more of a gamble than an investment.
Just for once I'd like to emerge with a huge profit! Apart from that, surely the Irish Government wants energy security and Barryroe is asking to be developed. Stupidity can outlast solvency.

Nobody has summed up ZIOC better! So poetic and so true. You can disregard all the usual fwaah! fwaah! which our future PM is so fond of ejaculating when he's not ejaculating elsewhere and not counting how many children he's responsible for. ZIOC is yet another binary bet much like LOGP. Either the assets will be developed or they won't.
They are the biggest dogs in my Kennel and I dare them to disappoint!

What puzzles me is the disconnect between LOGP and PVR. LOGP plunges 12% on a Sell-Buy ratio of 2-1 while PVR's down 0.57% on a ratio of 650-1!

A chance to get out? Listen to yourself! All us LTHs are down so much the odd 0.01p doesn't make much difference! Do you really think a placing's on the way? I prefer to think PXOG will benefit from a wonderful deal or maybe two. Stranger things have happened and PXOG's assets are definitely worth £millions more than the current Mkt. Cap. despite the dozy management's lack of oomph! Maybe oomph is surplus to requirements and a bigger company will take us out @ 1p which I'd be happy with although 2p would be better.

ORR has great potential? Yes. It's almost impossible to buy at the bottom? Yes. I thought I was bagging a bargain @ 0.30 but the SP continued to fall. Turned out it was a bargain!

Where's the logic? Some of the "sells" this week were Bed & ISAs which would indicate some confidence in LOGP's future. However misplaced! DYOR
