I've bailed out with a 23% loss after hoping for a quick bounce! Should've sold when I was 10% down - no excuses! And plenty of other oil & gas companies are also offering high dividends which would appear unsustainable.

...an over-reaction but in this Market I'm not surprised. ORR now looks even cheaper but WTFDIK? Almost every share looks "cheap" and it probably is but after another 50% fall it will be even less attractive!

And possibly a bonus from whoever's paying you. ZIOC investors are binary investors: either a deal will be done or it won't! We couldn't care less if the SP is 5p or 0.5p apart from wishing we'd bought cheaper!

Obviously a lot lower! Dividend is now 9% which you'd think would attract income-seekers and offer some support but probably not in this Market.

15p sounds good! And I'm not too surprised. With dwindling resources many tiny players are going to see their SPs rocketing.

I bought in @ 39p after it bounced off 36p but it appears I bought a dead cat. Since then it's hit a 52 week low @ 33.5p and I'm wondering why - as we all know Mr Market is never wrong! Much muffled laughter. And what about the 8% dividend?

You make a fair point but I think Barryroe will happen faster. Time is against any oil company wanting to enable Eire to be self-sufficient in oil and gas. You couldn't make it up! The Greens constantly shoot themselves in the foot which doesn't help the planet one iota. Heard a radio programme the other day where an expert said it's a complete waste of time expecting 8bn individuals to save the planet. Concentrate on forcing corporations to change their ways and we might have a chance.
And without oil where's the plastic?

Alarmed to read that Chinese car sales have plunged 96% - maybe they have more than enough to worry about without investing in African Iron Ore? Except wouldn't that illustrate a huge show of confidence in the face of adversity? Something to combat the evicted US journalists who described the Chinese Economy as "brittle" and heading for a crash? I live in hope while thinking that $3.5bn equates to £9.44 per share.

No apologies needed for going OT! It's the only way ZIOC shareholders can retain their sanity. I've requested a biography of Voltaire from the Library which I'm looking forward to reading. As for ZIOC - I've given up all hope of a jackpot in my lifetime! But I like to be surprised so I'll remain invested and hope for the best however long it takes. Meanwhile there are other fish to fry.

More buys than sells on Friday but a surprising lack of progress. Could the BOD quantify expected revenue in hard cash? I know it's difficult but the impending wall of selling could suddenly disappear if we all know we're invested in a chronically undervalued company.

You're doing your best but we are where we are! I read a comment the other day about the Market never being wrong which is obviously nonsensical as every SP rockets after a takeover approach. Only this week HYNS was up 61% so someone saw more value in the company than Mr Market the village idiot. Pleased to see Voltaire has finally entered the stage - he knew his onions and made a lot of money. Something we can all aspire to.
