I admire your optimism but we are living in very strange times and history may not repeat itself. Having said that, around 20% of my PF is invested in gold miners just in case the golden cavalry arrive.

Yeah, that's my fear too! The longer Zanaga isn't developed the more it's worth strategically which might explain the dismal SP. I can see the Zanaga jackpot arriving long after I'm dead! On the other hand, China can't have things all their own way forever so where's Russia which appears to have zero interest in Afrika. And why won't GLEN develop it themselves? A statement made years ago can easily be overturned. I live in hope.

Welcome aboard! Nothing wrong with a damp squid! I'm now down 58% with my ZIOC investment but I'm still expecting a miracle. A gambler would sell everything else and add to his investment. Maybe another gambler sold everything years ago and his average is 9p? Over the years I've made loads of money but not from ZIOC. Pleased to report it's almost my second largest holding: ZIOC 21% BEN 20%

I am beardozer, for better or worse, definitely not with multiple accounts - I can barely afford one computer! Assuming multiple accounts require different IP addresses? All I can say to you is: keep the faith. Barryroe has always been a binary bet and the SP is on its knees but things can change! I'm 99% certain the Irish Govt. cannot afford not to see Barryroe developed.

Always tipping WRES! After stupidly agreeing with your assessment a while ago I ended up bailing out with a 6.5% loss while the SP was still over 7p. No doubt you'll say "timing is everything". I would! Apart from that, recently it's been very hard to make money from investing in Commodities particularly Gold Miners. I've done well with Coal which is very unfashionable and I'm hoping BEN will eventually buy me a new house. Not to mention LOGP if the Irish Government ever sees sense and decides to safeguard Irish energy. Why would they ever rely on Russia?

You hint at LBE being a Lifestyle Company! What could possibly suggest that? Possibly because however dismal the SP performance the Directors still rake it in. Despite selling some of my holding I'm starting to think LBE could be a Strong Buy on the grounds that the right to extract oil has become an Endangered Species. I recently invested in LOGP because Ireland cannot afford NOT to have its own oil & gas supply but when is there ever any joined-up thinking?

Have the courage of your convictions! The SP hit 374p almost a year ago in anticipation of contracts. Why not a 200% rise from 147.5p if contracts arrive? That only equates to an SP of 442p and the future would be very bright.

Things often don't make sense on AIM and even on the main Market. Best advice is to learn from your mistakes and spread your risk especially while you're learning. The worst thing is to become emotionally attached to one share as many novices appear to do. Great if it rockets but soul-destroying if it doesn't and, of course, you've lost money which could've been better invested elsewhere. Good luck!

Apologies to Markeurasia if that's the case. Illiquidity is a problem. I usually have no problems buying shares but selling can be extremely difficult.

Where are the signs? Or do you mean the likes of me increasing our holdings? And where were all the sellers yesterday when it hit 41p? Obviously greed overcame fear and they were hoping for 50p.
