Hi Kutzz! I think 1p is achievable so you can look forward to £60k profit! But grab it while you can! And then retire to do something worthwhile. As soon as I have banked enough jackpots I'm off! The Market at the moment is a machine designed to destroy wealth. Almost every day investors are seeing the money they've invested in "serious companies" evaporate. Only this week SFOR admitted they were struggling as are most companies. I've had SFOR in my Watchlist for a long time so now might be the time to invest after it's plunged 86% from its 52 week high in September 2021. That certainly puts ORR's 73% decline from its 52 week high into perspective! Maybe digital advertising has its own version of a liar standing beside a hole in the ground? Good luck!

You topped up £12k on Tuesday!!? Looking back, was ORR the best possible share you could have invested your money? Bearing in mind what it's done for you in the past?
I know it's difficult when you're sitting on a huge loss but averaging down is frowned upon by most successful investors. But I've done it myself and occasionally it's been successful but mostly not. Much better to spread your risk and find a new bad investment! That was a joke! :( I'm certainly not investing any more money into ORR and I remain convinced that its only hope is a takeover offer at a bargain price from IAMGOLD. Let's hope I'm wrong and ORR emerges from the ashes after the POG explodes (not to be confused with POG which recently imploded).

Funny you should mention CHAR as I was a distressed seller quite recently! Needed to raise some cash and selling CHAR at a 27% profit seemed the least worst option. Had I played my cards better a much higher profit could've been banked but I seldom get my timing right. And I have a great aversion to selling my biggest losers e.g. ZIOC (and I'm down even more with TWD). What worries me about investing in oil & gas is a sudden worldwide moratorium on further development as if that could possibly happen. But what about energy security? It won't end well. I'm invested in LOGP in the hope Irish energy security will trump climate change but WTFDIK? I found the wildfires this week very scary - it could so easily happen where I live. As for a new Iron Ore mine - bring it on! Unless we start building everything from wood I'm fairly sure steel will still be required. And someone will prove steel is more green than wood.

In ORR's case I'd say it wouldn't but WTFDIK? I never thought the SP would be this low but the upside looks compelling.
How many shares I own and when I bought them is none of your business and irrelevant. I'm not as underwater as Kutzz but ORR is my 4th largest holding of 14. It's never that quite simple unless you're The Perfect Investor. Of course there are ALWAYS ways of making money but History doesn't always repeat itself much as investors wish it would. And "regardless of how bad things get people will STILL need electricity as well as something to eat." doesn't mean people won't consume a lot less electricity and buy their food as cheaply as possible as well as everything else. When the excrement hits the fan the 1% can't support the Economy and they will perish! And please don't use the word "sexy" when it comes to Investment - we're all impotent now!

But I'm in for the long haul. Too many UK companies are being undervalued. Don't be surprised when predators pounce!

It all depends on the price you paid! Maybe now it's good! I never expected BEN to plunge so far but I should've expected what would happen if a distressed seller suddenly appeared. But what were the chances? And if he'd sold into strength along the way and banked some profits his ignominious exit might have been overlooked. But, obviously, it doesn't quite work like that. After sinking to # 2 BEN is once again my # 1 investment - happy days?

DogstarTrader's a better investor than me as I've certainly stopped trading! Fear of much worse ahead and every SP halving regardless concentrates the mind! Whatever looks cheap now will be even cheaper, trust me! The floor is being removed. Gold as a "safe haven" is long gone. What worries me is SBRE plunging after discovering that raising their prices 19% led to an 80% plunge in profits. If that translates across the Economy we ain't seen nothing yet! Not to mention AML rocketing after a placing - bonkers!

To quote the mole on TV: "I like it!" It struck me ages ago that the only shares worth investing in are dirt cheap with huge upside. Only one of them needs to come home to roost and it's a nice little earner. More than one and it's life-changing.
Meanwhile, in the real world, it's not looking good.

Has ALB1 fiddled too long while Rome burns and missed the boat? I see he's attempting to deramp KP2 as well as ZIOC which bodes well as I increased my holding in KP2 by 30% this week. Now I'm wondering if the KP2 jackpot will be bigger than ZIOC's? It certainly ought to arrive sooner but WTFDIK? Also pleased to see LOGP rocket 33% this week - let's hope all my jackpots arrive at once! Unlikely but if I have to wait another 5 years I may not be here.
