I always have trouble understanding a Holding(s) in Company RNS - for a start, why are most of the boxes left blank? In this case, unless I've got the wrong end of the stick, existing significant shareholder Richard Sneller has increased his holding from 3.94% to 4.7%. According to the TWD website, on 30 June he owned 1,477,500 shares so I calculate he's bought another 285,000 shares (but don't trust my maths!) Is he the same Richard Sneller who used to be a Baillie Gifford manager? Or the one associated with Bacanora Lithium - how many Richard Snellers are there? Although I'm opposed to averaging down I've decided to follow the money and have increased my holding by 96.6% which reduces my average from 126p to 75p. GLA!

They're either going down the pan or the SP will rise 3000% - don't ask me which is more likely!

IIRC, it was a slightly facetious "I think it's bottomed" based on long suffering, wishful thinking and the SP having bounced 12% from its then all time low. The SP is currently down 91.5% from its 52 week high and a takeover offer would be very welcome at multiples of the current SP.

Announce amazing results like CNIC and where does that get them? I'm continuing to hold BEN but I increased my holding with its arch-rival ZIOC (at least in my PF) by 7.75% this week. Has penstock identified any other investments worth writing home about? Fixating on BEN is extremely foolish.

I share your pain! Only way forward is a takeover by a bigger company which sees more value in ORR than Mr. Market (not difficult lately!) The POG appears to be irrelevant these days but I noticed the price of Tesco tinned sardines rocketed 25% this week!

You're doing a grand job but there's many a slip twixt cup and lip. I wouldn't rely on rising energy prices in Europe as they're about to be clobbered by all sensible Governments (UK excluded). Liz Truss will be happy to let energy companies charge what they like and that will be her downfall but she's too stupid to see it. Riots on the street and a General Election? Bring it on! And bring on ZEN doing business with the Congo - the jewel in the crown.

...by Xmas as ever but I don't think it's BEN's fault. £trillions have been wiped out by Mr Market and far too many investors have retired hurt. Hopefully, the fundamentals will support BEN but a 10% dividend might not look so competitive after major companies' SPs have fallen so far their dividends are a lot higher. Yesterday's FTSE 100 rise was definitely a Dead Cat Bounce!

Why is this "a good business"?

Very scary but this is what happens when an illiquid share is subject to a couple of hefty sells. Definitely time for the Directors to open their wallets and support the SP. If they don't think it's a bargain price, why would anyone else? As patrick7 says, there are a lot of possible applications for the technology which offers some comfort. It's amazing how much optimism has vanished since Brexit.

...I just increased my holding by 7.75% to a nice, round 400,000 shares. Had to pay 2.375p which got my average down.
At least ZIOC can't post disappointing results and see its SP plunge 50% or could it? Admittedly, the downside is 100% but the upside could be halfway to the moon! As opposed to the sky being the limit.

...but at least they're buys! The ghastly Liz Truss seems intent on destroying the UK Economy and I'm hoping TWD will survive. MORE CONTRACTS NEEDED or it's all over.

I'm touched by your concern but, drunk or sober, I'm still a ZIOC shareholder. You won't get your 13p back but you might get a lot more! I can see ZIOC hovering around 2-3p forevermore until the RNS we're all awaiting puts us out of our misery. I note ZEN's 20% rise this week which must be in anticipation of developments for them in the Congo - funnily enough the same country ZIOC is hoping to operate in. Maybe the Geographical Risk is slightly receding?

Further thoughts: if I were a billionaire it wouldn't hurt to offer £250m for ZIOC and see what happens. That's around 81p per share which I'm sure a lot of LTHs would reluctantly accept. Knowing the billionaire will probably double his money further down the line. Isn't Capitalism wonderful?

As the second richest Australian Mr Forrest could buy ZIOC with the money down the back of his sofa. In fact, there are plenty of rich people who could buy ZIOC but we never hear anything.

TGA and it hit 1759p today so that's another £2k missed profit! Agreed, the GLEN loan was a huge positive which Mr Market has ignored.

This week a share I sold a year go @ 250p hit 1650p - thank you ZIOC for never giving me the opportunity to sell too soon!
Missed profit: £28k. What's the missed profit for any seller of ZIOC now? I'm hoping for £1 a share but in the long run we're all dead. Another great Keynes quote: Capitalism is the extraordinary belief that the nastiest of men , for the nastiest of reasons, will somehow work for the benefit of us all.

MMAG have started to send emails asking if I'm still interested in CDs I've looked at but not bought. Maybe they'll increase their sales but not when the item 's price has rocketed 109% from £3.39 to £7.09!
