You spoke too soon! Unfortunately, with such an illiquid share tiny sells have a disproportionate impact. Fortunately, with huge buys the SP could easily quadruple! I'm fairly confident that one day this year or next TWD will be # 1 Top Riser!

I couldn't understand all the Buys over 0.18p when most SPs usually sink below the placing price. Which it has. Anyone following in Eileen Carr's footsteps has nothing to celebrate and a Director paying well over the odds doesn't say much.
Only hope for ORR is a takeover by IAMGOLD at a bargain price. Or maybe MTL might come to the rescue? Or maybe IAMGOLD could takeover the pair of them? Or is ORR dangerously close to RTO territory? Somebody needs to get their act together before ORR disappears down the plughole.

In a vicious Bear Market with the tide rapidly receding the players without swimming trunks are soon exposed. And if they're even more over-exposed (if such a thing is possible) then they swiftly liquidate their most profitable positions which is understandable but illogical. Why not dump their unprofitable holdings in anticipation of BEN rising significantly after announcing regular dividends? BEN must rise from here unless there's a queue of distressed sellers... The announcement of a forthcoming 5p dividend would soon have the SP heading in the right direction. Finally, I hope penstock has learned his lesson about involving family members in wild goose chases! Probably not if the SP ever rises above 100p and he can tell his dear old mum she's in profit. Looking back, that was a very red signal - a bit like a taxi driver giving you stock tips. If BEN fails to deliver the promised dividend for any number of reasons then it's all been a pump'n'dump on a huge scale.

Anything could happen which is why everyone should own ZIOC shares in their PF. Currently listening to Bob Dylan's Christmas CD which probably shows how depressed I am! But I speak as a man who has a pink Christmas tree on display in his lounge 365/24/7. My PF plunged 13% this week - its worst week since March 2020. Thank you BEN! I remain confident. I also view the report positively. Some progress is being made and the fact that GLEN is loaning money to Jumelles would indicate they have not lost interest in the Zanaga Project. Unlike Veteran10, I would not take 10p just to see a small profit.
I would much prefer GLEN to offer me one of their shares for every four of my shares in ZIOC which equates to around 109p at the moment. And it goes without saying that "if I do get any money out of this, I will be doing something enjoyable with it and not reinvesting anywhere!"

I can understand you not wanting to go back to "fiver bottles in Tesco" but how much are you paying for your wines now?
Some Tesco wines are astonishing value for money but you need to spend more than a fiver! In the current climate I can only see Naked Wines and their ilk going bust fairly quickly!

Alarmed to discover ORR is my 3rd largest holding and 10% of my PF yet I remain confident. If ORR is so undervalued wouldn't it make sense for IAMGOLD to put it out of its misery by making a cheeky offer?

We'd like to think so but it could be the icing on the cake. On the other hand, with Greenland rapidly de-icing the cake could be on top! No, that doesn't make any sense! DYOR! I'm invested in GRX in the hope of huge compensation and not the mining possibilities which could also be significant.

Probably explains why the SP is treading water and why sellers have no problem selling! Expect a huge rise? Not until further news and if the BOD can't get their act together then the shares will be suspended. Place your bets!

We do all realise that Politics could render our investment worthless but I'm sure GLEN will have something to say about that! I can't say I'm the "proud owner" of 371k shares but I'd be happy with "a quid per share" just to get the nightmare over with. ZIOC is currently 17% of my PF having been much higher in the past. Fortunately other investments have been successful during ZIOC's inexorable fall! It would be interesting to know what percentage ZIOC is in other investors PFs. As for "ka-hoots" I think "cojones" is the word Driving was looking for.

Why do you think a profitable company with cash in the bank and a placing behind them will run out of money? And when was a bet other than two way? The SP could easily explode upwards after just one more major contract. Just imagine if there are several! With only 38m shares available? £10 by Xmas?

I agree, well done Driving! If only all long-suffering shareholders had invested at this price we wouldn't be quite so miserable... It's none of my business but may I ask what's your average? Mine's 7.15p.

Definitely not spectacular hence the somewhat short-sighted reaction. But TWD is very highly-geared to any significant increase in new orders - I remain optimistic. 100p by Xmas?

Saw this comment elsewhere about a company in a different sector in a different part of Africa but it could be about ZIOC: "That’s Africa and that’s why the financial rewards are huge. Just a little more patience required, when the news does come this will shift up very quickly as we have stabilised at bottom for a while now."

Trust your instinct and the fundamentals! Good luck! Selling in anticipation of buying lower doesn't say much for the investment! And, as you say, there's always a risk! Always. I was extremely positive about PXC when I first invested but Mr Market has disagreed with me! Not too worried as it's not one of my largest investments and I can afford to wait.

Meanwhile, "Glencore bucked the trend, however, following an upbeat trading update." A 15/20 bag is not worth bothering with! I want a 100-bagger from here o.v.n.o. - "big players" are irrelevant as GLEN is in command and is The Biggest Player!
