Calm down, penstock! My sorrow is far from insincere having foolishly advised relatives in the past - it NEVER ends well.
And I warned you months ago because if you fail you'll never hear the last of it and if you're successful they'll expect a repeat performance ad infinitum. I remain invested in BEN because of the fundamentals but it's worrying that the SP isn't over 50p by now assuming the future is so bright. And you never addressed Diversification - BEN can't be the only share guaranteed to enrich your mum! If you're a mono-investor you're asking for trouble! Denken Sie noch einmal darüber nach!

You are clueless because you completely ignore Geographical Risk which is why the SP is where it is. Plenty of other African countries have pulled the rug from under Western miners but they didn't have GLEN behind them. And GLEN's not spending much on the Zanaga Project at the moment AFAIK. Most of the money was spent before GLEN took over Xstrata. And the fact that GLEN is holding onto the Zanaga Project while disposing of other interests would indicate it's worth holding onto. Yes, we could be waiting another ten years - that's the problem!

So you're a buyer @ 1p which you could've almost paid before KP2 rocketed 9.3%? And if you intend "holding for the teens" then what difference does fractions of a penny make? How many other profitable shares have you failed to buy? Or, in my case, sold far too soon. Only this week IGAS was up 45%. I traded it in 2020 and banked a 47% profit - whoopee! Except I sold @ 12.5p and now it's 74p! Missed profit: £17550 which I could really do with in these troubled times.

Never trust "cheeky top ups" and "it was rude not to" . I feel sorry for Penstock's mum who can never have signed up to riding a rollercoaster! And that's assuming BEN hits previous highs which I'm hoping it will. And Penstock should never stop worrying about lumbering a relative with his recommendation! How about some diversification? If BEN 's SP is still around 35p 6 months from now then Penstock's mum might be doing well if everything else has plunged 50%. The excrement has still to hit the fan of the FTSE 100 yet I remain cautiously confident. A bit like slightly pregnant?

Unlikely, bearing in mind GLEN's involvement but never underestimate shenanigans. And as for "burning through cash" - I don't begrudge the Directors sharing a pot of tea occasionally. What else is there for them to do with GLEN holding the reins?

Unlikely. We are on the brink of the mother of all recessions which is what the current SP is telling us. All the talk about Copper being needed for every electric car is true enough but the Serious Money expects electric car sales to plunge 90% and why not? If electric cars are worthless within 7 years due to the high cost of new batteries then they don't have much of a future . I drive a 12-year-old Panda and everybody else should too! All the fuss about electric cars yet people can still fly wherever they want shows a lack of joined-up thinking.

A lot of talk on here but no walk! I think I predicted £1.50 by Xmas and, in theory, Communism works. Allegedly, one distressed seller has caused all this carnage yet the SP fails to get anywhere near previous highs. Fear grips the Market but business carries on.

Well, the SP has risen but I remain very frustrated! Just imagine the SP if TWD's IHT technology was being used in every electric car etc. If the technology is worth anything there must be a takeover offer @ £3 fairly soon...

It would be great to see a Russian offer for ZIOC! Assuming that's possible - I'm sure it is! Or possibly Indian. Either way the Chinese would outbid. Time is running out. Very soon normal service will not be resumed. "Investing" implies a future but that's shrinking fast. So why am I still invested in ZIOC? Hopefully a dinosaur disagrees with my prognosis and where else would I invest for such a spectacular return (allegedly). KP2, GRX and LOGP spring to mind. Possibly IIP if you're not bothered about how spectacular. On a broader note: is Quantitative Easing responsible for massive losses on the Stock Market for many investors? They pumped the money in but inevitably it got sucked out.

Pleased to hear one top dog intends buying some shares but at this price why aren't they all piling in? I don't quite share Veteran10's doomy view but new contracts would certainly be transformational. I'm down around 70% but the upside remains very compelling. Which means the first 233% rise just gets me back to where I started! And then the next 233% becomes more interesting.
