George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Supet, BK Gulf and DeNora are suppliers to AFC not customers.
See your point MrA, as you say “a whole different industry”. And yet the possibility is there that as only a few FuelCell systems will initially be operating and that they will be an entirely new concept for the end user, creating a reliable, efficient fuel supply chain along with a reliable, efficient service team, would add confidence to using the new tech. And as FuelCell demand and use grows, an accompanying business could similarly grow.
Agree nick, supplying the fuel may be something that warrants its own division within the business.? And having options of fuel types may see competitive pricing from suppliers. The maintenance on either sale or lease deals is something that AFC must get right.
Will be trying to be at the AGM, there are many questions, capacity being one. With the shift from L to S & H, might the BK Gulf deal on manufacture have changed dramatically.?, was the Harrier Hanger fully fitted out for the assembly of L.?, is the cracker built-in, and bought-in.?
At least for the first time we can be asking specific questions about the business, …as opposed to the vague “what is going-on.?” from previous confused situation.
and delivery expected around the end of June.!
Should plans transpire that the system is deployed in London, then mayor khant will be shouting about FuelCells and might lead to the banning of diesel on sites.!
Fantastic news.! VERY WELL DONE ALL AT AFC.!
Thanks to the guys that posted the link.
When I watched it there were 175 views, looked in yesterday and that had risen to 1100+.
Nothing new in the statement. Still a bit difficult to know where the first big order will go to. Now with the L, S, & H as product range, with built-in cracker, seems that the new assembly H-Hanger might need additional site.? AlkaMem mentioned, could that be first commercial sale that supports L,S,H to market.?
Still appears that the company runs a tight operation financially.
Having approached the market with their first product, it now looks like AFC are synchronised with market requirements. With the bank balance looking strong, maybe the company did not go too far, too soon down the L-series route as the S & H look more worthy to meet most target markets.
All now seems set fair for commercial success.
The best presentation I have seen of AFC Energy.
Agreed Iwto, we may be aware of the power differences there may be a difference in cost to the customer between the L, S, and H.?
Previously stated that the L could achieve manufacture @200/yr, plenty to create a power station to reduce gas demand.!
AGM soon enough, and nowhere for the BoD’s to hide this year.!
Thanks for the link ff, difficult to understand what context that is, when, where and who with. Otherwise, just the sort of development we should expect.
Some comfort in that Buys have consistently been virtually equal to Sells throughout this ‘terbulant’ sector, market, no-news driven fall.
Looking like there should be a ‘normal’ gathering this year.?
Thanks Nick, the fall at first seemed strange, had to be impatience at the lack of news, and yet it just kept going down …along with just about everything else.! Sure there are still some concerns with the lack of news, especially following Mr Bond’s enthusiasm in 2021. Will just have to wait it out.!
I see some are speculating that I have various posting identities.! How very strange, and a waste of typing effort. Chat away until contentment.!
This fall is so sector and market led as to be virtually irrelevant.! Business is facing hurdles at every turn, probably the same for AFC.? Can’t be too long until some news.!
Well put 1john.
Very helpful analysis from so many different angles.! Micro & Macro, positive & negative. It’s been some time since news, plenty of time for things to have developed, and a fair few things to report about should be headed for a bumper ‘annual newsletter to shareholders’. Or, some of the opportunities are taking time to establish the new tech within traditional methods, and that might be the way for a few months.?
Rekon I was closest.! …by a nod to Mr Eric Morcombe,
@48.2 close today, my guess 824p …all the right numbers, just not necessarily in the right order.!
To all.
Paul.
Thank you klunk, so the award went to fluence.
is the AFC category in S&P awards. Anyone got a link.?
