Yes. The mind Boggles as to how potentially successful molecules with multiple application In Autoimmune and Cancer could be priced. And we have three (including SRA 737 where we are entitled to a percentage share which would still be an enormous financial reward if successful). To me, this chance of multiple applicability makes it more likely that a pharma would want to move early either at pre clinical stage or in early stage 1 clinical. Leave it late and any signs of multi application success in trials would set of a price war that could quickly spiral out of control. But even acting at an early stage still makes it very difficult to value three potential multi application assets. We should also not under estimate what multiple application success would mean for the wider pharma community and the threat it would impose. Sorry mind running riot so stopping now. But as has been said -the outcome if unclear is potentially mind boggling.

Walts - we have seen a number of promising molecules fail particularly in the Covid area. The rush to get to the front usually ends in tears. Sareum did not rush CHK1 ( now SRA737 with Sierra) and that is the only CHK1 that has not been discontinued. Same applies to SDC 1801 and 1802 a attention to detail is everything. You don’t rush good science.

So is the plan to get the share to 5p, 6p or 7p before consolidation? The higher it goes would give the mms greater flexibility in managing the post consolidation share price. Only 6 working days left to get what they want. They may even use the opportunity next week to publish some news on toxicity to accelerate the price.

No doubt Sierra Oncology is going places and in my view, the main reason is the science behind combinations of small molecules such as SRA 737 and Keytruda etc. These are major institutions which do not commit large investments in Sierra on a whim. Just one part of the Sareum pipeline with much more to come. Current issues are a distraction. The science rules. Most shareholders here would not have sold when the share price was 9p.

Included in the Sierra news re the share placing is that it will enable the company to develop its pipeline. The Sierra Science section clearly shows that development includes Heme and Solid Tumour Cancers involving SRA 737. In my view they will want to maintain momentum once the placing is over ( I am assuming it will be a success). SRA 737 will no longer be hidden under a bushel. The current Sareum share price is a joke given the developments that are taking place across the pond.
