RE: Francesco Gardin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer22 Nov 2024 13:23
Yes and it's also worth noting how many business people have had failure before incredible success. I'm not entering the debate on here about FG but I am pointing out that it only takes one success in life to change many other peoples lives. See below for some perspective:
1. Paul Allen, along with Bill Gates, started Traf-O-Data. It was unsuccessful, but it laid the groundwork for their future success with Microsoft!
2. Steve Jobs co-founded Apple. As we know Jobs was forced out of Apple. He then founded NeXT and helped develop Pixar, achieving amazing success. Eventually, he returned to Apple and launched the iPod, iPhone, and iPad.
3. Richard Branson’s first venture was a student magazine, followed by a mail-order record business. Both faced financial difficulties.Look at The Virgin Group now. It's one of the most famous brands in the world.
4. Jeff Bezos worked on Wall Street and had a number of business ideas that didn’t pan out. He then launched an online bookstore in his garage, which eventually evolved into Amazon!
5. Rovio, the business behind Angry Birds, had multiple unsuccessful games and financial struggles before finding success. The launch of Angry Birds, their 52nd game, turned the company’s fortunes around, making it one of the most recognizable brands in mobile gaming. It often takes time and luck!
6. Reid Hoffman had a number of unsuccessful businesses, including SocialNet, an early social networking site. Learning from these experiences, he co-founded LinkedIn, which grew into the world’s largest professional networking platform.
7. James Dyson went through 5,126 failed prototypes over five years before successfully inventing his bagless vacuum cleaner. His persistence and belief in his idea led to the creation of the Dyson company.
8. Kevin Systrom & Mike Krieger developed an app called Burbn, which failed to gain traction. They pivoted and focused on photo-sharing features. This led to the creation of Instagram.
9.Travis Kalanick had a number of failed startups before co-founding Uber.
10. Going back in time, for my final example, is Henry Ford. His first business, the Detroit Automobile Company, failed. His second company also struggled. However, Ford persisted and founded the Ford Motor Company.
So, judging by 1-10 above, don't write off Francesco Gardin and QBT just yet! We could see an ARB style rise here if things pan out with Method C. Don't forget that it has been successfully integrated into Bitcoin mining hardware, boosting performance from 30% to 50% already. That's why there are detractors here because Method C's effectiveness is getting closer and closer to being confirmed.
