Oldfinger, I had forgotten about ARBKF. As far as I know, all three, ARB, ARBK and ARBKF, are the same company and the share price of all three will even out within 24 hrs. So it doesn't matter which one you have money on, they will all end up at the same price within a day.
I would be glad to hear from others if I'm wrong.

OK, ARBK just shot up 40% out of hours, now 32% up, should be a much better day!

Thanks Chaebol, yes ARBK showing 12% up now before market opens, so should be a better day.

Arb was suddenly up 6% half hour ago, now down 3%, timed exactly with Bitcoin quickly rising $1000 and then stopping.

Chaebol, I'm slowly learning stock market shenanigans. Could you explain 'dumped' in simple terms? Why do you think it had nothing to do with Bitcoin?

Amazing how sensitive to the Bitcoin price the crypto shares are: ARB and especially ARBK went shooting down yesterday when Bitcoin dropped a little . . . now today ARBK is showing around 18% up before market opens.
Poor people who jumped off in fear yesterday and can't resist getting back on today. Sometimes the stock market is a money-eating machine.

Got to be grateful for this steady share price: UFO has stayed above the low of 0.4p for over 12 weeks.

Onsolidground, I think you're right about things moving fast due to so many investors "on the sidelines" ready to jump in. These past few years have been so grim in terms of sinking shares, most people have put their money aside and are just waiting for things to improve.

As usual, I don't know what's going on: could anyone tell me why Arb is on the up and fast? Is it just Bitcoin rising, coz it hasn't risen that much . . .

ARBK is up 5.8% after hours. I've often seen Bitcoin rise late Friday afternoon UK time, too late for ARB to rise with it coz the market is closed, but ARBK can rise with it for a few hours.

(I'm watching the share price in the corner of my computer screen at work, as per usual) and something's afoot: 5.9% up. Very nice.

When other people's money is at stake, the boss should be more cautious than a ballsy, all-in strategy. I agree hexam. Take high risks by all means, but do it with your own dosh.

I don't see how you can execute 'smart growth' when the stuff you're mining drops 75%. I've only got a very small investment, and I've got no reason to defend PW. I just think this company hangs on the price of Bitcoin, not the board or the boss.

How to explain the 19% drop in the States yesterday? I reckon it was because Bitcoin dropped 3%!! It's ridiculous headless-chicken-style chucking money about.
And I believe Peter Wall would still be in place if Bitcoin had stayed over $20,000 last year. Remember it fell from nearly $70,000 in Nov 2021 to $15,700 in Nov 2022. No boss could survive his bread and butter falling that much.

My hope, like all other Argo holders, is that the current upswing is a tide change and not a blip.
At about 5.30 pm UK time, several mini-whales jumped onto Bitcoin, and I believe that's why ARBK went into the green at last.
Gold, iron ore, potash, whatever, the companies mining it will go up or down when the stuff they are mining goes up and down.Surely Argo will do the same.
