IF I had a personal choice I would much rather have kept the twice yearly payments, however it is what it is AND the monthly cycle will (where only one tenth of the annual equivalent is being paid) certainly make it a lot harder for the known traders to profitably position themselves in and back out on a dividend scalp so we should see more SP stability both pre and post record dates.

anyway, as individuals and as a shareholder, we will always have our own freedom of choice where we can either:

(a) LIKE IT (accepting it and staying put)
or
(b) LUMP IT (not accepting it, selling up and FO)

SERIOUSLY who gives a flying fig what the SP is this time tomorrow or next week or the ensuing weeks and months long after that or when news of this or that arrives or when it doesn't as long as the SP keeps going in the exact same upward trajectory that it clearly has in the past 18 or so months since it came back from its suspension.
