"do you know what dividend payment,s are to be payed in july"
ever thought of READING company RNS's...?
said information you seek is all there
or better still
transfer me all your money and I'll look after it for you
mind the gap :-)
cheers stokey, as they say we can but try (asking again) but given their avoidance to provide anything of substance it sounds as though they haven't really got a forward plan or maybe they just don't know what they are doing.
agreed
no 2021 Q4 report to measure against (2021 full year was 1,649 boepd) but the 2021 Q3 (1,810 boepd) v 2022 Q1 (1,115 boepd) continued production decline is abysmal (especially in Romania where it is now 610 v 1,495 for same period quarter last year) and (IMHO) were it not for the massive hike in gas prices during 2022 Q1 I dare say they would probably be looking at a NET LOSS on the Quarter.
I think shareholders need some SPECIFICS and DATES on the call on exactly what the FORWARD PLAN is to arrest these continued production declines as these high commodity prices won't be around forever.
"way way down the road there will be opportunity to drill Argos acreage, maybe a partner will come on board for Argos once SL is given the go ahead and Navitas/RKH can share some mob costs letting the rig go off and drill for Argos"
the only problem with that is when (assuming that it does) the 'development drilling and completion' phase of SL commences, I would doubt very much there being a suitable window of opportunity (30+ days for just 1 well) during the first 2 years of SL activity for any rig to sail off to Argos to drill a wildcat exploration well despite the possibility of shared mob costs
UNLESS of course the 'partner' happened to be 'one and the same' (ie NAV/RKH) and even IF it were one and the same it would be an extremely low hanging fruit priority for them (target is production in current high oil price environment not exploration) and therefore quite simply light years away.
Argos is and has been a basket case investment and will continue to be for the foreseeable and the best outcome (hope) for them IMHO will be a similar fully carried royalty only deal like they previously had with Noble
IF they didn't have their fishing business to keep the directors going, the lights on the ilex jiggers would have gone out long ago
so despite what that Essex fruitcake says the best is NOT yet to come

can someone wake me up IF the mighty Argos ever actually get around to drilling a well :-)
gungi,
IF you sell today you will 100% receive dividend as trades typically take 2 days to settle, therefore you would be on record by close of play tomorrow as any sale today would not drop off the register until Monday.
FYI, its best to ignore what the forever buying and topping up (never selling in public) pied piper opulentia says
she's been AT IT (always buying or topping up) since 2009 across all 3 discussion forums (LSE, ADVFN and the now defunct iii)
so much so that I'm truly amazed that we've never had a TR1 from her, but then again not everything on the internet is as some would like you to believe
GL whatever you decide to do but I'd be very careful who you listen too
if ever in any doubt, take some time out to research it (ex dividend vs record dates) for yourself
preferably next time and before the event :-)
"To say they punch above their weight is a huge understatement"
they certainly do...
in the use of social media...
progress eh ?
how long have you been waiting for that ALL IMPORTANT flow test now...
it is (the flow test) somewhat critical to the future direction of the company and its SP... wouldn't you agree...
OR...
would you say... that's a 'moronic' statement too...
Michael Caine... yeah its a great story... but then again...
operationally... that's all it is...
A (Martin Luther King) STORY...
but as the 'great one' himself once said... and I quote...
'EGO's are a hard taskmaster'
CLAP CLAP
you gotta laugh
it took less than 5 mins for Lonny to retweet that and like it
imagine paying your COO a significant 6 figure sum to read LSE and play about on twitter all day :-)
so much for that 'very busy' behind the scenes mantra
a test
a test
a kingdom for a test
well so much for all those google armchair industry experts who were saying (nay heavily promoting) that the so called best in the world (?) wouldn't mobilise people and equipment into deepest coldest Alaska unless there was a 'guarantee' of big oil in them there hills
oil ?
what oil ?
oh dear :-)
PS
a reminder for the armchair experts
Schlumberger are (like the others also mentioned in passing) a 'SERVICE' company who will WORK for ANYONE who will PAY their bills
OIL or NO OIL
"do you have learning difficulties by any chance?"
I can't speak for Tony per se but I've come to the conclusion in your very short lifespan that you have I suspect got some READING difficulties
anyway sorry, no time to hang around and chat all day like some folks, I'm off out to enjoy the beautiful sunshine and perhaps think of ways that I can spend my big fat juicy April 8th dividend
darn and drat I gave the dividend date away
ho hum you'll be a happy lazy bum now :-)

"I suspected GRH had access to the satellite seepage surveys, but now it appears he owns the company"
well highlandmatt IF you deducted that from what kasjnaton just posted then you need some serious help in deciphering the old boys...
long... winded... spaced... out... look... at... me... listen... to... me... follow... me... I... am... the... satellite... man... never... called... a... single... drill... wrong... yet... posts...
FYI, harrychrisna just posted the link to the company that own the proprietary rights to the images and the 'old boy' was merely an employee...
AND...
IF you really want to know who the 'old boy' was in partnership with then look no further...

7 years and it never turned a single cent never mind a dollar before being struck off and dissolved...
an old mate of mine once said...

and guess what...
they were right...
DYOR...
I DID... :-)
PS
I'd look no further than what madmanrob has just posted as it's 100% correct about certain 'old boys' and and their ego's
"The people who are powerful narrators will give you a very eloquent and often useful insite into research they have done. However this is often tanted by the constant need to repeatedly tell positive stories of their highly successful business life .
Constantly saying how wonderful you are is a propaganda tactic and to be honest the more someone tells me how wonderful they are the less I trust. It is a one sided view of their life conveniently missing out their failure."
that alone is perhaps why I like to keep reminding this forum and its investors that there is no such thing as a free lunch !!
88 yes and I also remember him saying he doesn't post on blogs where he is not a shareholder
RKH forum summed it up well when someone posted, 'without these blogs he has nothing in his life'
FTR and to confirm, I am posting as a shareholder
I bought the ones the FAKE Flaky Sheik sold a week or so back in the 41's

"I am interested in making money... not winning popularity contests"
GREAT STUFF... finally the public admission on record of why one old boy puts in so much effort...
BUT... my favourite 'old boy' quote of ALL TIME is still...
“EGO’s are hard taskmasters”
aye they SURE ARE...
I do remember I once said...
there is no such thing as a FREE LUNCH...
guess what...
I haven't changed my mind...
