Flying up already

Bit high. Not much of a discount and lower than I expected

-1,861.82 -6.90% tonight on Dow so who knows what price the market makers will open this up. I thought it would go up yesterday and it went down and today I thought down so it roared up.

So I can say I have no idea at all for Friday.

Or 2p after a thumping on Wall Street tonight. Depends on how many need to sell here to cover heavy losses?

Will add tomorrow if this gets close to 110p. Huge fall in Wall Street so no idea where the mms will open this

second lot of placing shares released tomorrow. Might be on some accounts about midday but probably Monday. I am guessing these will be below 11p...I suspect 10.7 bid with Wall Street down 1900 points. Not selling myself. Might add if this goes to a silly level after news today.

SGRO which is issued tomorrow after a primary bid offer spent all day higher before falling into the red at the end as Wall Street went ever lower. Dow now 1700 points down so if you are fully invested its understandable to give this a miss.

180 to 190p. Its a lot of stock here ...20 per cent of the company.....and the mkts look dire. However this is a very solid business and not far from the March lows. The new stock will be available next Tuesday / Wednesday depending on your provider so not long. Directors are buying in here as well. I think you will get all you want. I am in here tonight as I think the upside is much better than the downside. I am hopeful that the instits will push for a bigger discount tonight. Of course it will fall heavily tomorrow but maybe not that much as the discount. The new cash will help secure the company. But still risky esp if Wall Street ends up more than 2000 points down tonight. So I have put in 4K here.

At what price? I think it might be around 180 to 190 tonight. A lot of shares being issued here ...20 per cent....and Wall Street very weak.

Fallen below 18 dollars today. May see this falling sharply one day......back to IPO price even? I have cash to buy but think the mkts are rolling over so will wait a while.

Meanwhile WEB has had a great run up. Closed well up today too. Vote in California is next thursday.....thats the second vote. Very positive over next 5 years for gaming stocks.

No I dont. These went to over 4p a couple of weeks ago and I did not sell then. I could have sold a large holding of metro bank yesterday at 132p and I got greedy. Losers and bad decisions like all. GL holders.

I got 3.40p for mine today. These speeding tickets ....always a worry on a 100 per cent rise. GL holders

Must admit I was hoping that Web would have a bad day and fall back to about 1.50 as some short termers sold out and moved on ...today is a bad day for the mkts after all. But its going the other way. It would not be a shock if it was top of the leaders board tonight. The mkt cap is so low after all....there are shells with little or no assets at this cap .....

May I say that I have always linked two stocks together in my mind. This and MAC. I dont know why but I do. Very different business. Perhaps because the mkt cap have always been so low or just because I have owned both for so long and always done well on the spikes? You can tell me off on a cross ramp here if you wish!

On a dull day ....

I started a thread on ADVFN on Betinternet....which became Web...in Oct 2003. Nearly 17 years ago. I also started a thread on Asos/Asc in July that year. The latter went up over 2000 times in price from 4p to about £86 at the highs. Bet/ web has not really moved at all it must be said. You have to laugh.

Up 15 per cent on a bad day for the mkts. So you may be right.

Had mine last night and sold out. Got just over 33 which was better than expected although not a great price really. But when the mkts look so nervy happy to take it. Been in and out of TRX a few times but not in on the placing day. I thought the placing price was silly. Could have got 0.5 imo. The bod just demolished the existing holders. I see a wall of selling here as people get their allocation. But no matter now. Will be watching to see what they do with this 12 million....but for now good luck holders and I hope you recover your dosh soon.
