Hi All - is it the Vodka or has this really shot up to 43 from the dizzy depths of 32p !!? - I now assume this is down to some important chap buying a few million shares !!! - anyway, you long term holders deserve a bit of a change, so long may it continue - Rory -
Hi again...........well, it's good to see this one trying to nibble its way bag north - may it continue for you die-hards on here - patience may still yet be rewarded !!???? - Cheers, Rory -
Hi - Oh Dear, in some ways it saddens me that this one time favourite little baby of mine has now slumped in to a impending disaster -- how things change - when the new seams were opened up I was full of hope that that would be the beginning of the end of this SP slump....sadly, for those strill in for the ride, this has not led to quality diamonds being located and they are still left with the rough stuff which is not fetching high prices - will the banks now become alarmed and call in the loans or at the very least re-arrange the agreements against the interests of PDL investors !!?? - either way, please do not do what I have done in the distance past ie. trying to catch a falling knife....this was a bargain to buy at 99p then a bargain to buy at 75p then the best bargain on the planet at sub 50p and now, dare I say it,....32p......... better to wait for any positive rise on rise on rise and then re-enter at a higher price than to keep throwing away money on this very sharp falling knife - Good Luck if you are stuck with this one - to end on a high note, it could be any day now that one of those fabulous beauties falls on to a miners tow - WHOOOOPPEEE - Glory days are here again !! ........Rory
Hi - so, now it is at sub 35p levels - Sincerely hope some of you took my advice on never trying to catch a falling knife when this was around 50 - 60p - this is now a classic example of that - this one time favourate stock of mine, is now looking to be heading for choppy waters - with little on the horizon to save it - GLA but be very careful not to assume this must now be a bargain price to enter - that was often said from around 75p etc.... Rory -
Hi - Good Luck to all you regulars on here, but just be aware that trying to catch a falling knife often ends in tears - this was often stated as a bargain buy when it was sub 80p then 70p, 60p then 50p.....and now 45p - it may have a rosier future but just be careful not to always assume a falling price means there is a bargain waiting to be bought - did exactly that with RGE from 20p down to 3p - kept on buying in thinking it was just too cheap to miss out on - then, horror of horrors, it gets suspended and is then wound up - shares then were worthless.....the big debt here is a massive worry to its bankers especially now that production expectations are down - Just be careful as I would not want any of you making my mistake - thankfully, that was long ago now and I am a seasoned old trout - but old trouts are well worth listening to - this was once a one time favourite of mine - monkeybusiness and all will no doubt remind me of that - but I finally got out at just over 70p - Hope this recovers, but I would only pop back on board with a sustained SP rise based on actual facts and hard numbers re growth etc. before daring to do so once again.....Cheers - Rory -

Hi........so you believe 57p is the bottom line price ?......Hmm, how many times was that said when 90p, 80p, 70p, and now 60p was breached....it is never that simple - after 40 years studying SPs it is good advice to avoid trying to clutch a falling knife....better to wait for a solid and gradual rise and then pop in when confidence seems to be returning - that could be in around 3 to 6 months time, so not that long to wait and see - !......GLA, Rory -
Hi.....interesting to note a decent rise in SP that was maintained throughout the day, rather than the usual hit towards the end of trading - shows a bit of confidence may be returning !? - Cheers, Rory -
Hi.....thanks for your excellent response.....interesting how todays SP movement shows how little confidence investors have at the moment - quite nicely up then it just gets sold off and ends down.....still hope for the future for longer term holders - Good Luck.....Rory.......ps....no idea why previous posting popped up twice.....
Hi - good to see this making a slight rebound from the recent heavy fall.....however, is anyone else a little concerned that De Beers is now going in to the manufactured diamonds market, as well as for natural diamonds - does not sound like a good omen for diamond miners such as PDL !? - GLA - Rory......

Thanks for that Skippy....your posting popped up just as I was finishing - Cheers -
Hi again....in case you are puzzled by the sudden drop in SP it is mostly due to the announcement of a $178m rights being issued in order to help cut the sizeable and increasing debt - it is believed the offer price will be 40p available, presumably, to investors who already hold PDL shares !? - Good Luck - Rory
Hi all....got lucky this time - was increasingly tempted by decent SP performance of late, but still was not entirely happy so never quite popped back on board - probably best to give this one a miss for quite a while - still has potential for recovery play, but not just now - GLA if you are still in for the longer term - Rory -
Greetings Chaps - are there any Ladies out there ? - Hmmm, becoming increasingly tempted again - well worth keepING a keen eye on from here on - GLA - PS.....wearing shorts at the moment - hope this dose not break any BB rules and regulations ! also, is this rumour of a Royal Wedding some time this week-end actually true - simply cannot seem to find any news on this matter -
Hi All......it is surely best to now assume that PDL will not ever be seeing that so called package of diamonds again - can you imagine the aledged dodgy characters that swiped it, actually now handing it back with the comment - have it back, no hard feelings - no I think not - It is surely reasonable to assume this bag of goodies has long since been disposed of by who-ever swiped it - of course, I may be wrong but.................JACKANORY, Jackanory......zzzzzz
Hi - Hmmm, bit of a teaser this one just at the moment - starts to shows shoots of recovery, then back tracks - will not be tempted to jump on aboard again until the 80p plus level is maintain for quite a while - would help if they could announce to the worlds media that they have just found a juicy whopper !!! - could happen any day, but there again........??? GLA.......Cheers, Rory -
Hi - yes, despite todays noticeable drop , things are looking more promising for a recovery play, but will need to see this ,maintain a position above the 80p mark, perhaps, before I really feel confident enough to jump back on board - have preferred to jump in after positive rises seem to have been maintained, rather than trying to catch a falling knife kind of a bargain - often resulting in tears - Cheers, Rory -
Hi - yes, this steady move back northwards is certainly worthy of note - well worth keeping an eye on this stock from here on - GLA - Rory -
Hi - forgive my intrusion in to this highly informative BB but if dodgy characters have seized this parcel, can you seriously believe it has not long since been disposed of - surely, it is likely to no longer exist - why would dodgy people ever nick such a thing just to still have it sitting around 6 months later ??? - can you imagine them ever saying ' Oh Well, fair enough, you can have the diamonds back now - no hard feelings - not really !?
