Jimb - in early September you were posting about a Zeus report indicating the finalised deal would be signed signed early October - what did the Zeus report actually say for that assessment to be made as it has caused a fair bit of chatter on here ... why would Zeus say or infer such a thing if there was no evidence/fact or intention of doing so & perhaps Kiran should be taking them to task over it for misleading or misinforming shareholders!!

...they raised more than they needed for Amapa but that's not all the money they needed ... Staff like Mrs Padovsky don't come cheap & then there's our hob nob & silver tip tea suppliers to pay.

it was obvious to anyone with half a brain that when they raised after they squeezed the authority out of us it was going to be big & highly dilutive....

Just happy to see the SP moving in the right direction again personally - be even better if the rise was as much on the bid as it is on the ask though ...

.... the issue with all this @TC is that it doesn't tally with Kiran's verbal commentary on it .... Assay results/contract signing beginning October then 2 months for surveys & submission then 2 months for review & approval then 2 months for works ... & commencement of operations Q2 26 as per interviews ...

It just sows uncertainty & dissatisfaction ... there should have been news by now, if nothing else on assay results & contract even if they're not planning to start anything until Jan ... 😡

& to cap it all we've now got the advance party of the happy clappy club on board 😂

Well in truth we never had much influence over Sonora (even less I imagine after blocking BCN's, move, trying to buy them out & then effectively announcing a 25p raise!!) at least with Amapa I get the impression Indo are happy to be more in the background operationally & let Kiran get on with the day to day grind.

Just gotta keep those fingers crossed that this one pulls through & doesn't go theme way as soon much before it ... 🤞🏼

@Jimb ... for me there are simply two ways to look at it & you probably won't get an answer regardless of what it is until it's resolved ... possibly ...

on the plus side it could be (as Kiran suggested) that another party has approached with a better offer/JV offer or buy out option, potentially on the back of the announcements regarding Azteca which made the whole project very real all of a sudden .... who knows where that might lead, that's me be very optimistic....

On the other side it might be that the assay results were disappointing & our unknown (cough cough) Azteca partner has backed off/wants to renegotiate or feels they've been hoodwinked, would we be told if that's the case - well we've never been told the Hesperian deal (which they raised & diluted us for) had fallen through & yet that's clearly the case isn't it ...

Alternatively it could be that the contract is still going through due diligence/legal or that our unknown partner (cough cough) wants to start things in the new year hence the revised timetable as I see it in the presentation.. & Kiran's just fed us another failed timeline because it was wishful instead of realistic ....

We'll find out in due course & that's still the risk or the reward, each to their own ... at least there are some here who want all the facts to make those decisions rather than just those that suit ...

& that's all well & good, new investors are very welcome however that doesn't change or erase the past nor does it mean the past should be swept under the carpet to keep 'newbies' in the dark .... bit like pulling statues down & trying to erase history instead of calling it out for what it was, labelling, understanding & learning from its failings instead of understanding why we are we are & dealing with it - let's just pretend it didn't happen, not fix it & never talk about it again eh ... never been one to stick my head in the sand, people make their own choices but they should he able to do that with all the information available to them not just that which is cherry picked as it looks good .... Just because you take a room for the night instead of the hour doesn't turn a brothel into a hotel ....

@ witty for clarity I'm not planning or necessarily wanting to hang around until production so am very much hoping to get to my own exit point(s) prior to then

.... Oh REM/KDNC could write a book on the how to be in the wrong place &/or wrong time .... let's keep fingers crossed for Amapa eh ....

...but if you're only looking to invest now it'll be on the back of Amapa I suspect so the legal proceedings regarding Sonora should probably be an irrelevance to you ...

.... most of them not a trifling waste of effort - but without any buying it doesn't look great & will inevitably cause a further drop eventually ... 😠
