... another element I'm wondering about is how the bank syndicate are viewing these latest developments & whether they've been kept in the loop, the RNS says nothing about repaying them out of the proceeds prior to ploughing money into the greater Amapa project ... are they just happy to sit in the background on the settlement they were offered & wait even longer than they might have otherwise agreed to, or is there something else (hopefully) in play here that'll see them settled by a JV partner or buy out offer??? one can but hope but it's be nice to know what the banks position/view is or whether it's unchanged 🤷🏼‍♂️

... well fingers crossed at least, this project/investment is now the most derisked & most advanced that we've ever been involved in ... & to be fair (& despite my previous feelings and comments) I believe it is largely down to our BoD & Kiran, I don't for one minute believe our BoD were in any way cognisant of the effort, timeframes & pitfalls of the road they embarked on with Amapa but we've got to a point now where I (& others it appears) actually have some faith & belief this might be the one .... still personally hoping for a total buyout for good value but the current path appears to be working at least & happy with that 😀

...the answer to that is simple - don't sit on the sidelines when all the information is available to you - if you delay buying in & miss something that's on you - you are clearly a jump in jump out trader wanting quick turnovers whereas I'm (& many others are) here as a long time holder, sufferer & investor whether it's a week or a month is irrelevant to me (& many others here)..

& you shouldn't underestimate how long that commercial documentation might take to get agreed & through the legal departments & jurisdictions ..... not saying that it won't happen this week but I think it's extremely unlikely & misleading to say otherwise, we've had enough of disappointing time lines without adding more that the board/Kiran haven't given.

One step at a time & this finally feels like we might get to the fat juicy end of a project/investment for a change.

... I suspect the funds from the last raise(s) were needed to pay for taking & the grab samples - hence the delay ... thankfully that's done now & as stated was in line with expectations... next stop contract signing 🤞🏼 & development (or a sale for value of the entire project - even better 😁)

... the reason the ASX has trading halts on substantial news is because they've got different time zones to contend with ...if they announced without a halt it would mean that traders/PI's in Sydney would get a significant head start & place traders/PI's in later time zones at a significant disadvantage regardless of the direction of travel ....

Jimb - in early September you were posting about a Zeus report indicating the finalised deal would be signed signed early October - what did the Zeus report actually say for that assessment to be made as it has caused a fair bit of chatter on here ... why would Zeus say or infer such a thing if there was no evidence/fact or intention of doing so & perhaps Kiran should be taking them to task over it for misleading or misinforming shareholders!!
