In short we don't .... but a small portion of JV1 is already scheduled in some years time & the rest certainly will be at some point unless, EV"s, Storage etc move away from Li as the go to material..... In time we could look to buy it IF it wasn't going to be exploited by GFL/BCN but it will be I'm sure (still hoping GFL will buy us out to be honest) ..... to be blunt my concerns over the years was always whether the company could survive the boards, choices, actions & associations & whilst we've suffered not a small amount of unnecessary dilution to accommodate those for me Amapa, secures & unlocks the potential future of the company & its survival until the JV's might be exploited fully as well as any required contributions (assuming we don't hold out & sell them for good value).....

But past is past which is why I seldom post nowadays as no-one now cares to read/hear about it amongst all the understandable newbie ramping & their clear distaste of anything negative ... & Why would they anyone in recently should be in good profit.

Firstly good morning Obs..... indeed Indeed, but just one thought on that, if you need to sell shares just to buy them again (i.e. if you haven't got access to £20K cash that you can run a smaller risk with reasonably easily) should you really be trading AIM unless it's a fixed Pin/Game money amount that you've previously set yourself...... Although by the apparent state of some posters sanity on here it wouldn't surprise me if that were indeed the case..... people risking money on AIM they can ill afford to.

.... you didn't read what I wrote then OBS ..... I said put the cash in your ISA 'first' then buy them in your ISA 'before' selling them in your standard trading account & recovering the cash back to where you got it came from when the SP recovers sufficiently to cover the buy & costs ..... I also warned it could cost more if the SP goes in the wrong direction but then we're trading AIM so we're hardly risk averse eh!!

Sounds about right MrJ based on £20k with a spread of just under 4% (without using the bottom & top of the bid/ask) + any fees .....

That's why I put the cash in my ISA bought in there & then sold as soon as the bid rose sufficiently to cover it & my expenses..... depending on your financial circumsatnces if could be a bit of a test of nerves if the bid is or starts going the wrong way for the selling part of that strategy .... but hey ain't that why we trade AIM ..... you also might want to consider how much you might save in tax if it's in the ISA as opposed to your standard account that £687.67 might seem cheap in comparison if this does go "chicken oriental" on the right news.

Assess the Pros & Cons for yourself, make your own choice then suffer the costs or benefits ... LoL :-) take care

Haven't done it this year ... but the way it works is that your brokers sells the shares in your standard trading account, transfers the funds to your ISA & then rebuys them in your ISA account .... so you would end up with fewer shares in your ISA than you had in the original account caused by any fees applicable (some brokers reduce/waive elements for a B&I) & the difference in the spread, although they should try to reduce that to the extent they can.

Depending on how you're set or feel, when I have wanted to do it in the past I have simply put the cash in my ISA & bought the shares in the usual manner & then sold the shares in my standard account when the costs were covered .... depending on the share & what it does it can cost you more though so you need to time your buys & sells well.

Probably best discuss the costs/ramifications of them performing a B&I in a single process as opposed to you performing them separately yourself albeit using them to do so as well....

As always you pays your money, you makes your choice....

I agree 165Z .... What's not announced before the webinar won't be disclosed within it, can you imagine the fall out if loads of investors placed buy (or sell) orders immediately after the webinar before it being announced publicly the next day!!

It should also be remembered BCN's price collapsed further than it had already after Kiran announced a 25p raise in a KDNC webinar (whether he knew that to be the case or not) in the now 'missing' (not published) webinar, after which we sold much of the remainder at around 20p ..... which in my view was likely 'required' - after all who wants association with a so called partner so willing to kick you in the proverbials... Ridiculous RTO offer then the 25p Bomb & that after all of Leningases manouverings, bluff & bluster .... I know I wouldn't have been impressed if I was Secker, some JV partner eh!!

Still that's all behind us now & Ganfeng won't care if they take a shine to our 30% holdings (wonder what that would do to %'s if they combined it with what they already own!)

LoL I know it .. Me too MrJ & then some .... I first bought in 2012.... so the bulk of my time here definitely behind me for sure just waiting for my (recently revised) exit price points to occur, as I suspect are many... I was dumb enough to hold during the 2p (now equivalent to £2 a share) spike in 2013 listening to the tripe about £1.04 a share being spouted (now equivalent to £104.00 per share remember that!!) & won't get caught twice that's for sure... take care ....

This board has survived very well over the past 6/7 years with people posting comments (negative or positive) about the company as well as a considerable amount of passing the time with, pleasantries, puns jokes & recipes .... that's not going to stop because some pompous holier than thou know it all relatively recent newcomer .... Get off your high horse & sit in the corner with the other couple of banter bashers.... makes me spit...
