EyeGuy I still think your predictions were based on the square root of Jack, but got to hand it to you, you have called it right all week even when claims of 50% gains and 20p targets looked ridiculously outlandish. Well done.

Just looked back at our discussion on the relationship between spread and liquidity. You did mention placings, but you meant the placing a few weeks back. Not that there was an imment placing,apologies.

Well at circa 3,4 and now 5.5 % that's a total of 12.5% rather than 25%. That said still good news. The only issue is if EyeGuy is right and a placement is coming. So good news but with health warning.

Well they are a named individual so they are acting in a private capacity. That said this is the 3rd tr1 holder which is good news in any case and they have a bigger stake than the other 2. Good news.

Dnd I have been in here since 2012 when I listened to another BSer. I am happy that others are making money here I don't want others to get screwed because of rampers like I was. I am glad that it looks like ValJu and Freddie have been buying and enjoying a gain on here. I hope that they get to crystallise profits on profitable tranches as they have historically had significant holdings and put a lot of effort into getting rid of the duff directors of this company something that has made this rise possible and something you are free riding on.. It is only right that they get something back now.

It does not say that at all. It it is only mentioning potential applications not that that route will be pursued. Perfectly possible in years to come that valirx will make a contribution in the field of infectious diseases or if val101 is sold off (that would be actual good news) that the people who buy it will. The same people trying to ramp this share are also talking about a placing on Friday (actual bad news because the sp will be subject to the effects of dilution). If I can sell out of elsewhere I still might try and get a profit here but all the BS makes me think its too much of a risk.

Borgie, I don't think p&d has any detrimental effect on a company and I don't think rampers or derampers have any real agency in a p&d (it's just an emergent result from volume). The only thing that angers me is that in order to profit from a p&d a sucker has to buy the shares at the top of the spike and its listening to claims that its gonna go higher that get people suckered. Rampers always exploit others.

I think things are progressing well, we have generally moving upwards (at various rates) since the consolation became effective. I said we needed to maintain a rise over a 20 day period to start getting some confidence in this share and we aren't far off that now. Its a bit difficult to know if the current level is "pricing in" of expected good news about a director aponitment or its part of a p&d. Hopefully an update on director aponitment will come soon to give support to the sp.

It is increasingly looking like a pump and dump and it seems to happening all over this biotech sector. I recommend not getting gready, if you have turned (say) a 100% profit you have done well! But don't get caught holding the baby if it crashes.

No EyeGuy the 20% spread has been a feature of this share on a daily basis for years and that's why it's got nothing to do with the placing. I am not arguing with you BTW. The narrow spread is extremely good news and I think with the change of broker has come a new lease of life and a less prohibitive trading environment.

What exactly is the question? Small companies might be getting attention legitimately as they might be more agile and able to innovate than the big boys. The big boys will have a pool of talent, resources and knowledge call on. But it could just be a silly fad like including the word blockchain in your company name and get an irrational increase in sp.

Well still not sure about multibaging. It might happen but only as a vaccous pump and dump (take profits when you can). Historically the epic spread on this share has made it very unpopular because of the massive hurdle to overcome (high risk low reward), however the new broker of late has adopted a different policy and effectively taken the foot off the break. Without the wide spread this share is worth taking a punt on if you only need (say) a 5% rise to see a gain. Its got nothing to do with the placing.

Liquidity of shares has been benefit in recent days. Its no one wonder buys and sales were few and far between when the spread was regularly 20%. (who wants to buy when you're 20% down as soon as you buy?) The last few days have really benefited from spread that had at times been less than 3%. If we open with a narrow spread in the morning, it could be another good day.

You're encouragable EyeGuy lol. Still there is reason to think tomorrow could be a a blue day as well. Seems to be a fair mount of activity across the biotech sector at the moment. Don't think 50% is on the cards, but nice if that was the result tomorrow. Hopefully there will be some news or update soon to support the rises otherwise this will be ValiRx's annual pump and dump!

Hi Drac, the problem is that if George and Satu were just incompetent it's hard to find fault with them. Any action to get compensation out of them would have to be based on them knowingly doing something wrong. The sad thing is that we have been letting those two run things badly for years. I am very happy to see we are starting to see a sustained upward trend along with other positive things like a couple of TR1 shareholders, but I am also sad as it is now becoming apparent how George and Satu held us back.

Fingers crossed for another good day Drac. Nothing wrong with getting in at the bottom or making a ton of money on the back of it. On the whole I think both ramping and deramping are pretty much ineffective. What draws people to a pump and dump is large rises like yesterday. The problem for me is when people end up being conned into buying at the top because they have brought into the BS of those claiming much more gain to come, when the BSer has already sold out. Its why I think of rampers as parasites and conmen because thier gains are on the back of exploiting others.
