Absolutely Glos! As you say most of us had written off our entire holding which in my case was over £30,000! Any recovery would be a fabulous reversal of fortunes. Further investment? You must be joking - not from me.

Idea was that there would be some action by the end of June, I believe. Lots of people joining the Abman twitterati brigade.
Came to nothing, as expected, but could we have an update/explanation from the great Master??

Market is obviously nervous about 88E but whether it is a success very soon or not is irrelevant. Some of the best brains in the business (PB/DW) have put their names to this and I'm sure they will eventually come good. Patience is a virtue and to that end, I shall go and have a beer before watering the garden. We have millions of barrels beneath our Alaskan holdings - the word is 'when' not 'if' IMHO.

It's hardly surprising considering the potential situation that we hope will occur. The thing I don't understand is that with 8 million buys and 1 million sells, the SP goes DOWN!! It's now down 40% from recent highs for no apparent reason. As someone said -" be patient" but that's bloody hard right now. Good luck all…….

Just wondering - If this is what happens to the SP after what I consider to be "Good news" (ie all actions/pressure/etc so far are quite normal), what are we expecting if the news isn't so good?? Sub 1p numbers presumably? I don't pretend to understand AIM and will be out ASAP but 88E is sitting on billions of barrels of oil and everything looks pretty reasonable yet we are on a gradual slide to oblivion. Is it because there are so many shares in issue? Is the market being manipulated? Has the RNS been misunderstood because it mention H2O (daren't use the "W" word?? I'm grateful to all the sensible posters who seem to understand what's going on here but I feel very disheartened and exposed when I should be excited. So much for the spike before "News". Is everyone expecting awful news? Surely not.

I have an average of 24.4 which was looking OK until Mr President opened his mouth (again) and put us all into turmoil. A "no brainer" has become a "maybe" but hopefully the EU will allow us to continue trading. In for the Long Term now (which was not the original intent).

Skindle I'm almost a carbon copy of your story. Describing a deal with Iran as just generic 'ME" is quite misleading (although factually correct) but the BOD knew that. Trump's timing was very unfortunate and I still retain a hope that we may be able to still deal with Iran. I will wait a while but I certainly sympathise with you. Dishing out shares to the Family is just bad taste.

5 minute segment with PWC expert singing the praises of drone technology. Very positive and upbeat. Enormous market with jobs potentially for 600,000+ people. If Geocurve and AERO play their cards right, this could be enormous.

So what we're all getting excited about is taking the number of shares we own, divide that number by 100 and that's the number of �'s you can expect. The resultant ( unless you have millions of shares) will not come to much after all. Better than nothing but don't hold your breath.

The way you are talking this up is very reminiscent of what you wrote regarding CTAG. Let's hope you're right this time.

Always surprises me that when a Company like JOG puts out a positive and highly informative RNS, the "market" reacts very positively and then almost immediately retrenches. If we're ever to be a 5 bagger we need to wait for oil figures from Verbier in the Summer (I'm very happy to wait). This 2 steps forward and 1.5 back is excruciating!! +1.6% Wow!!

Just re-read my notes taken after the interview. Shareholder breakdown is : Management 10% Retail (us) 45% Institutional 45% Every Management team member is a shareholder. CEO thought that SP did not factor in the terrific results from Verbier. If flow rate is as expected at 130 barrels, value is �200 million. Even then he said that the Industry was far more excited than the market ( even more so now). Whole interview was extremely positive and nothing has changed. We're in for a "momentous year". Bed and ISAs may have distorted SP. Be patient - this is a no brainer IMHO.
