Don’t think you understand what a programme of works entails.

Underground fan drilling will be after the production infrastructure.

It’s got absolutely nothing to do with the Starter Mine which is a tiny proportion of the orebody. It’s necessary to start with this high grade starter mine to fund the lower grade bulk mining.

The fan drilling is needed to Design the bulk mine and prepare for a Feasibility Study, this will be in numerous phases in my opinion with the first one coming under the slope of the Dyke with a SLC operation.

Yes it’s a pain waiting for the Decline to restart but there’s a lot going to happen very quickly.

The underground drilling in about 12 months time will be totally different to drilling from surface. The fan drilling from a point will be very close together totally in the ore for about 2-300m, this will bring a greater knowledge of the orebody. This will increase the reserve resource.

XRF analysers are very accurate but they don’t analyse below parts per million.

Lab analysis goes down to parts per billion, it’s that which is important.

Our chat last night turned to Ernest Giles and “ the substantial drilling campaign this H2”.

My thoughts on the Banded Iron Formation is still one of excitement. Goldworms view it will be difficult to find under cover.

Our talk turned to the chemistry side of this, at this point my friend Roger’s eyes glazed over.

This is my simplistic view:-

“When EG Banded iron layers were formed you have to be looking at 3 to 3.5 bn years ago before oxygen started forming so sulphur was the dominant gas. Tectonic movement and magma movements would have cracked and folded these Archean greenstone rocks. The granotoids coming up would probably have had trouble getting through these BIF and come up on the peripherals as at Meadows so the main contact could be where the 2 meet. This suggests the gold could be at the contact points depending on what the chemistry make up of the granotoids are. ( Granotoids are blobs of magma coming up from below bringing up these hydrosulphide gold fluids).

Gold is also found in the cracks and faults of the BIF.

With 2-300m of cover it’s not going to be easy to find but if they hit one “Bobs your Uncle” 🤣”

Sat chatting with Goldworm in the pub last night he’s convinced that something will happen shortly after the 1st July. It’s the start of the New Aussie Tax year where accountants wipe the slate clean and start again.

There was a big difference though DDH accepted that deal on the back of exceptional results of HAD001, they could see an immediate upside to the sp with more drilling. I’m not sure if they still have those 22m shares I doubt it.

Antipa are trying to do this on their own with limited funds, getting closer to a PFS but nowhere near an FS.

It’s the reason Ggp couldn’t have done Havieron on their own, completely different story now.

I don’t think they’re pouring gold at the moment, the sat images are not stockpiling of ore either.

The only thing visible from those images is the tailings dam repairs at Telfer and a bit of work around the removal of the old Turkeys Nest pond at Havieron, otherwise quiet.

8.5moz equates to 241 metric tons

The last RNS about the Decline going through the aquifer derisked the process, these negative trolls have latched on to the aquifer saga to try and scare other investors but they didn’t understand that news.

Looking at the graphic 3D you can strip away the cover sequence and you can see the bump in the basement rocks that the new route will take.

I’ve estimated that bump to be about 30m this would leave a 50m vertical distance from the hold point to get through the aquifer.

When you work out the Decline length that is only 352m from that bump and not the previous 562m.

That’s over 200m shorter length to get through the aquifer plus it takes a further 46m to get both the floor and the roof through the aquifer.

The aquifer is stable it’s strong but has a high saline content, so you wouldn’t want machines and workers in those conditions for too long.

The basement is a lot stronger so advance rates will increase in both strata’s but less water in the basement rocks.

At Telfer they’re working below the water table and have to keep pumping, the water at Havieron is trapped in the aquifer so there isn’t the issue as at Telfer. Dry stable conditions in the basement. Trolls don’t want to mention that.

I doubt if Winu Ore would go to Telfer, it would need its own plant, the ore would be going South then the copper concentrate coming back passed it to Port Hedland. Definitely uneconomical.

Antipa are thinking a plant at Calibre from what I’ve read in the RNSs, don’t think that will happen either, will be at Winu.

Looking forward to our next session in the pub.

My thoughts about acquiring Antipa jumps ahead of myself gaining a foothold into the ASX but would also gain another jv with Rio and close to Winu.

Rio have been pulling back from the Paterson recently, letting Ggp jv with them but pulling out of the SIPA jv right next to Winu.

I’ve always hoped Ggp would get Winu, still looks a possibility. They have 2 licences close by.

I’m eagerly awaiting the news of the Meadows drilling. The last RNS stated substantial drilling at Meadows in the second half of this year. The planned proposals for this must be imminent.

I think their jv with Newcrest is in abeyance as it’s quite obvious Newmont doesn’t want it. The jv target Chicken Shack is tiny but close to Paterson 8.

Parklands target looks interesting.

That jv maybe a good fit with Ggp/ Antipa but I would expect Shaun to be ruthless on it and surrender lots of areas.

Shaun’s only remark that I’ve heard him say in London that Minyari was too small, they’ve expanded it a lot but it’s weak grades, they look lower than Blackhills historical grades.

The 10% of Antipa shares that Newmont have might be in the negotiations as well, but they could easily sell them or keep in a package with the jv.

I don’t think your rumours are correct.

The Telfer dams aren’t ready , we know they have only just got going on the fix in the last couple of weeks.

There is activity around the ponds and future ROM pad but the sat images aren’t clear enough. If there is waste rock coming out it will be from the raise bore vents but I understood those to be complete.

News last night of Calidus issuing an MRE on their Nullagine licences.

I missed the news last December of Calidus buying Nova’s mines and processing plant around Nullagine for A$250k in shares and A$5m in stage payments. Nova didn’t want this mine and plant in 2019 and mothballed it.

Shaun was on about looking for a producing asset this was the only one I could find that would fit with that thought process. It’s about 30km from Panorama so would have fitted in with that area.

Unfortunately we didn’t get it, Calidus immediately signed a lease deal with Atlas Iron for A$14m , what a move brilliant.

Calidus were going to truck the ore from their own licence close by to their Warrawoona plant 75km away now their thinking of opening that plant up again.

Panorama is about halfway between the 2 plants .

That sale process shows how cheap majors will dispose of their unwanted mines.
