There’s hundreds of kilometres of infrastructure under and around the Main Dome, so wouldn’t take much to get these target zones. The hoist is there so a Decline from there to the West Dome wouldn’t take that long, a few hundred metres. Shaun was explaining to people standing around him that this Decline will be horizontal aiming for the centre of the ore body. This means stoping operations will be going downwards and upwards at the same time with minimal transport to the hoist.

The targets in the open pits have already been drilled, I’m not sure what stripping procedure needs to be done or the cost implications to get to these.

The West Dome deeps looks to be the prize, whereas the VSC and adjacent reefs look to be the low hanging fruits

There’s 2 geological papers circulating at the moment, very heavy reading but very enlightening on the formation of Telfer.

It looks like the molten fluids have drawn mineralisation away from O’Callaghan and 17 mile Hill depositing them at West dome and Main Dome. Tungsten has a tendency to travel the opposite direction so I understand leaving it at O’Callaghans.

The copper ore in the 2 domes is chalcopyrites and increases in grade as it gets deeper but is lower in the West than in the Main Dome. The West Dome though only has 4 drills for these reports to make an assumption on, so the fan drilling will go a small way to confirm or disprove these.

The VSC has increasing amounts of chalcopyrites as it gets deeper, this is where the fluid pathways are passing through, so this zone could go deeper.

To my mind they are assuming the West Dome deep will be similar to the Main Dome but might have slightly less mineralisation, but drilling needs to confirm their findings.

Could be far more down there than shown under West deeps.

The rehabilitation plan may come in the next Sustainability Report but would need to be approved by the EPA.

The costs for are a constant menace on this board with people who don’t want to understand the procedure only costs trying to undermine other people’s perceptions.

Shaun specifically dealt with one of these people near the end, his replies were the mine life say 2048 rehabilitation costs around 2049 not many of us will lucky to see that.

He then went on to talk about these costs and one specific item, a D10 bulldozer shaping batters continually.

He shrugged his shoulders and said why let the weather do its job it will anyway.

Just think of the diesel that uses continually, a big saving, but still needed occasionally but newer greener models are coming.

Hopefully I would expect to see a new Sustainability Report due next May.

I would like to see what plans they have for renewable energy systems at Telfer and Havieron.

Wind turbines, solar farm, maybe Hydrogen and battery systems are a forgone conclusion. This is going to be a huge project and will eventually see big cost savings.

It may effect the share price eventually.

A good point you raised though about what is and what isn’t priced in. I doubt very much that any resources are priced in at the moment or very little. Not a lot of that list I gave have been reported under Jorc resource.

Just diverting to what Sid said those tonnages are the resources not the Starter Mine Reserves 51mt over 20 years.

Havieron is only a Starter Mine at the moment, the FS is being reassessed to include bulk handling and bulk mining.

Trucking more than 2.8mt is going to be onerous, Shaun on Tuesday was talking about conveyors.

Well like everyone I don’t know how the market is going to react to this Mega purchase, we can see that the herd of small investors are returning and big players are or have been positioning themselves.

There is definitely one thing happening that is the propelling of junior explorer to a mid cap nearly overnight with phenomenal asset increases.

Excitement is bubbling, there is an undercurrent of expectations. These expectations haven’t reached the main markets yet they will want proof of asset growth.

March will see a big jump in resources :-

Cut back to West dome

VSC large increase

West Dome deeps fan drilling

Eastern reefs

An increase due to different reporting jurisdictions

An increase due to higher gold/ copper price equivalent calculations.

I could go on but you get the drift there’s a lot going to happen.

Then there’s the reserve reporting next June, will they issue the new reserves for Havieron ( remember we haven’t had an update since March 2022) widely expected to increase from 2.9moz to 4.5moz. The Telfer fan drilling reserves could be announced.

Regaining the Havieron 100%.

Then there’s the small increase in assets by comparison of the Juri joint venture regaining the 100%.

Gaining nearly 10% of Antipa.

With a cost due on the Antipa jv by February 2025 this may or may not be a gain.

Certainly going to be a white knuckle ride over the next 6-9 months.

Telfer production next year could put Ggp at No2 if they can produce 425,000oz, half that the following year would slip to around twelfth

Newmont under the agreement are not supposed to be using both trains, if they carry on with them our 15 months will reduce quickly. I think there is some compensation to Ggp in the agreement on the amount of ore used

Havieron ore body is practically vertical it’s dilution factor is around 6% including external and internal (waste rock in the ore)

De Greys is numerous open pits all with external dilution . Industry average for open pits between 12%_20% of the ore tonnages.

Dilution is what reduces the reserves from the resource figures.

This is why Havieron has an 86% conversion factor the highest Shaun has ever seen.

Not necessarily just core testing, they have an assay lab testing all rocks and materials far more sophisticated.

In that 2013 report I posted Wednesday night there is a photo of Telfer pre mining, you can see how they found it sticking out of the ground .

Can you imaging owning this and then have to fund and construct the infrastructure to mine it in the middle of the Great Sandy desert.

This dwarfs the Northern Star start up.

Shaun said this on Tuesday when he was talking about the size of the stopes.

Northern Stars was 10,000 tons, Havieron will be 125,000 ton that’s a 13 fold increase.

The Paulsen anomaly of Northern Star is a long orebody at roughly 45 degrees the infrastructure required is enormous, it dwarfs what’s required at West Dome Deep or Havieron. You can see it on the 3D graphic site.

As I said the deal is mega and Havieron resource can only get bigger given time, which now we have 🙂

What I’m seeing is a very cheap deal with a huge benefit on the upside on my personal holding.

The true value of what Telfer has will start to drift through in the next few months, there’s loads of ore still there. It will allow the main prize Havieron to be progressed in a more professional manner with very experienced management in control.

We have now got control of our own destiny.

A lot of this Report has been included in the large Ggp report but is far more detailed and technical.

It is well known that Majors ignore low grades they just don’t cover their margins, if you look at these sections there’s loads of weak ore surrounding the pit and the 20.4mt stockpiles left behind by NCM have just been discarded as too weak. Ggp are going to exploit these.

The bottom of the West Dome deep is in the Ggp potential list as its high grade down there, this is not in the 15 month mine plan it will extend the Mine life as with the other orange zones on the Ggp slide in the Presentation. The blue areas are in the Mine Plan.

The VSC is future Mine planning and Shaun stated a 10 year life at 1.8-2g/t.

The exciting West Dome Deeps will come in a few years could be another 10 years, this was ignored by Newcrest since 2014. This was at the time of lower gold prices making it less attractive and easier projects would take up capex cash.

Newmont came in and straight away excavated the exploration Decline and started fan drilling it for us Bless them 🙂

Paddy found a presentation from 2013 showing 2 anomalies at West Dome deeps one is a low grade. The Ggp report shows the high grade orebody and states it’s surrounded by breccia so could be the low grade anomaly Paddy found. There is no resource figures shown and should be included in next March and June resource/reserve update.

There’s an image on that report showing the West Dome open pit if you follow the red outline downwards you can see all the mineralisation that the cut backs are taking out.

Now this was in 2013 so some have already gone. The blue squares indicate 0 to 0.3 that’s what to look for and expect.

At the base that’s different that’s higher grade according to Shaun and is still there that’s what they’re heading for first. Needs to be pumped out first.

No mention of West Dome deeps.

Explains what Shaun said about the VSC being an infiller to the plant as Kriging estimation couldn’t be used as the ore is too variable but the have managed to get an estimate of 1.3moz using pricing calculations of $1250 au and $2.50 copper.

Higher prices will mean a higher NSR value in each Kriging block so more (unviable at the time) will now be economical.
