You have to focus on the word “proximal “.

In the Scallywag all the results were “distal”.

Proximal is the primary hot zone. On the plan they seem to have found quite a few of these.

NB! I said the March quarter for results, I’ve no idea really but after Xmas probably. It could be a West Dome Deep moment when they issued news adhoc last February.

They haven’t drilled the diamond tails yet. Doh!

Loads of information for newbies.

The FS maybe 3 years behind original thoughts but we’ve had Newcrest looking elsewhere 1 year, Newmont buying Newcrest 1 year and Ggp buying it 1 year. Been a long time

I’ve put maps up on Ggpchat for the recent applications there are some extremely large licences involved to the north of Winu and west of Minyari.

Also the Camp Dome prospecting licence allows.

There can’t be much left to pencil in with the EPA approvals, if it’s gone out for comments it shouldn’t be long now.

The new road and evaporation plans I believe already have approvals under stage 1 but there may have been amendments for the tarmac surface.

Those graphics are 2 years old they will have been refining these for the FS. The indicated on those graphics will change to reserves about 86% of them. The price of gold increases will have made a lot of weak ore viable.

One question is whether they will use the Banks money to fund it.

I personally think they will use part of the loan. Street cred with the Banks in case we need them again. Use their money not ours to fund the risk. $30m a month won’t cover the huge capex coming but at 4g/t and $4,000 margin that’s $800m for the first 1.6mt first year. Will be paid off in a few years.

A Feasibility Study has to be a major event for any company.

It takes a lot of finance, resources, time and effort to get to this point.

Many decisions are needed to get a major mine started and they need to be the right ones.

I’m eagerly waiting the answers to many of my questions which I’ve shared with this Board ever since the FS came out.

Transport issues?

What grades in First ores?

Will they move the infrastructure out of the ore to the east of the Dyke?

How will they retain the cover sequence in place?

How will they prevent the aquifers from draining into the mine?

Processing sequence?

Where will the underground crusher be sited?

Where will the conveyor come out?

I could go on but you get the point of a lot of decisions have to be made.

One I have, do I organise another meeting before Xmas, we did Derby on the 17th last year. 🙂

It was the London market top mining sector that got hammered yesterday. Going on to the FTSE main market would be daft, ASX is a main market. Shaun told us staying on AIM suits their needs and is similar to ASX regulations.

This drop should give everyone a chance to decide for themselves if they want to add more at this time.

The fundamentals haven’t changed, there are 2 assets on the books, one is still being explored to increase its mine life. Confirmed extensions for another 2 years from the initial 15 months. The other is still gold in the ground.

In reality the assets values are far higher. Telfer has potential for a multi decade mine life, next March will be a step closer to this reality. Havieron increase in reserves is looming in the FS, this increase should be large. The reserve figure has been stuck at 2.9mozeq for a few years now, the 5moz indicates at an 86% conversion to 4.3moz. This is based on Newcrest cost assumptions on a gold price much lower than today’s, Ggp will use a higher assessment which could lift resource and reserve figures.

The reserve increase is a big catalyst driver in the FS release.

You are seeing things with a negative slant.

This time last year we had a 12 month production which consisted of 3 or 4 months in the open pit and 6 months underground. We should be depleted by now but we’re still mining and likely to continue for many years to come.

There were enough stockpiles to keep processing for 15 months, so if things had gone according to plan we would have had 3 to 4 months left of stockpiles.

They found over 20m tons of low grade stockpiles since, that’s over a year’s processing.

Ggp are still finding high grade mining zones and still producing.

December 89koz was exceptionally high grade ROM and we were told not to expect that again.

How can you see a pattern from distorted figures. The June and September quarters were effected big time when stage 2 and 8 got flooded and works suspended. These were the main stay of the March quarters figures.

The high grade underground ore coming out at present is being stockpiled on the ROM pad. They’ve quoted the grades at an average of 1.89g/t over 10% higher on the last quarter.

September quarter sales of 82,199oz Au and 3,277t Cu at weighted average realised prices of $5,277/oz gold and $12,552/t copper, generating net revenue of $476 million.

It’s $6160 at the moment

The whole mine is a work in progress, it’s so big, it’s so complex even the analysts are bamboozled.

Last question is just, there’s been a heavy focus on waste stripping at stage seven. I’m just wondering, you know, when do you get into a sort of an ore harvest phase? How does that sequence with your expectations of when the high-grade stockpile will be exhausted? Thank you.

Simon Tyrrell, Chief Operating Officer, Greatland Resources Limited: Thanks, Daniel. As I mentioned, we’ve got about 15% of stage seven in the blend this year. That goes up to 40%. We’ll have somewhere in the order of 8 to 10 million tons of ore from stage seven in FY2027. The high-grade stockpiles wind down or they’re consumed in the March quarter next year. That’ll give you a flavor for how that sequencing happens. As I mentioned, we are looking at uplift plans for the open pit. As we’ve locked in the schedules for the new equipment, we can start to put that into the open pit schedules, and that might bring forward some of that stage seven material, but that’s work in progress at this point in time.
