There’s a subtle difference from getting to the top of the ore and production.
I’ve explained this on the other site and you can see it on the 3D graphics.
Firstly the main Decline doesn’t reach the ore by about 100m, at that point it turns to the right for the start of the Production Decline spiral, there’s about 500m more Decline length to get to the first production stope level.
Decline progress 916m to 12th Oct at 5.5mpd average
Distance to production spiral 2500-916m =1584
288 days from 12th Oct = 6th August

I’ve always assumed that 8m is achievable which would bring the date down to 28th April

Other faces will open up after the 4th spiral which will facilitate more gangs and machines

Another 500m to the production stope @ 8m will be end June.
There is a lot of infrastructure accesses and drives to construct in the period after June.
Constructing the first stope drives will be going through ore called development ore, it’s this ore that will be stockpiled by the box cut ready for the crusher to arrive.
There will be a great amount of activity from June maybe 4 gangs working in different places but this won’t stop the progress of the Decline going on downwards.

Going back to first Ore
From the point where production decline starts its spiral descent a smaller drive will carry straight on (over the top of sulphides which are at 450m deep) and carry on into the central Northern corridor. This will be where the fan drilling will start.
An opportunity will present itself to remove some high grade ore, as this small drive passes over the sulphides on the west side they step up to 420m below surface. This gives about a 30m step that can be extracted.

The Feasibility Study will contain an upto date mining plan, it will supersede all others.
These plans have to be approved.
Whether these approvals will come between FS and DTM I would not like to speculate.
The DTM is unlikely to come at the same time as the FS, but who knows with Havieron.
For a mine of this size the speed of action is tremendous :))

The only reason I can see that Brucejack and Red Chris are classed as Tier 1 is that they have the potential for 300kozpa for a mine life of 15 years.
Havieron is still with the PFS mining plan of 2mtpa for 9 years.
This is so far out of date now!
Ggp MRE mining plan for 3mtpa for 11 years has forced it closer to a Tier 1.

The FS and MRE mining plan should propel this beyond a 15 year mine life with numerous SLOS phases.

The longer this takes to the FS the more solid foundations for a longer mine life will be met.

Tier 2 to a Tier 1 mine should have an immediate effect on the share price (hopefully)

What is a Tier 1 asset?

Newcrest defines Tier 2 assets as those having potential for >200kozpa Au at 10 years (preferred) and moderate resource or exploration upside likely. Classification of assets as Tier 1 or Tier 2 is not dispositive of, and does not necessarily imply, the materiality of such assets to Newcrest.”

The Feasibility Study is being delayed to accommodate more ore.
More importantly is more ore from nearer the surface enabling other forms of extraction.

His name was Mark and I think his user name was Crossbow, very nice chap .
My sincere condolences to his wife and family he will be sadly missed.

The underground vent shafts don’t come up to the surface the first one goes between the first 2 spiral rings
There’s 4 vents together in a line after the 4th spiral,
If they’re going at the speed I think they are going then that position is looming fast. Yes they may be starting these 4 vents/ escape routes fairly soon

Thor Investor Meet Q&A on Thursday

I’m keeping an eye on Thor results it’s very relevant to Panorama.
2 alluvial streams splitting, one going into Panorama and the other into Ragged Ranges Sterling prospect..
About 9km long on both licences.
Rock chip and stream samples have indicated alluvial gold called paleo-placer.
On the Sterling target they’ve completed a major drilling campaign and finished on July 10 results must be imminent.
These results will be a reflection of what to expect on Panorama and is just one area of these 3 licences at Panorama. Other areas have a few old gold mine workings, I haven’t been able to find any info on these Triberton south alluvial and Triberton Creek.
I have found info on one mine on the Westar licence next door Opaline Well mine

I don’t believe we will see results from the Juri jv yet.
Their plan this year was to drill all the RC collars first and then go back and diamond drill. At the weekend they were back at A27 on Blackhills before moving to Swan on Scallywag

My calculations for the Decline is around 1050m but BottleRocket said I was about 80m too short last week
Anyway should be near completion of the second spiral by now
