This maybe for a design of a block cave for the VSC under the Main Dome. Shaun talked about it in London then the last TH he sort of dismissed it as not suitable but prices have changed and may have brought her in for her expertise.

Our neighbours at Ernest Giles to the SW are Regis Resources at Duketon. They've issued a comprehensive drilling report at Duketon and Tropicana .

Referring to Duketon this is what could be at EG and we should expect with 1moz camps all over the place. It won't be like Havieron or Telfer they will be following veins of all sorts of thicknesses and grades.

Page 17 O'Callaghans

They are diamond drill testing the extensions to O'Callaghans skarn deposit in late Quarter2 so that's about now.

I hope it will be in the next quarters exploration update but might be too early.

I've been looking at Ernest Giles, I haven’t seen any movement recently on the satellite images.

It's too early for EG or O'Callaghans in my opinion.

One of the requirements of the bank syndicate is for the Telfer resource MRE to be reported. This is programmed for the March quarter.

Two zones which look likely to be in it are in the open pit Stage 7 extension & 2 in the base of the pit. Both areas have been drilled and were waiting for results from the labs so that modelling can be done prior to the MRE.

In the Main Dome Underground 2 zones are definitely going to be in it ESC and Tarkin both have already gone to the Operations team. Two other areas look likely to be in it the WDD and Kylo.

Shaun's comment in the exploration report:-

"We will be mobilising an additional rig this month and are well placed to achieve our drilling targets to inform a significant resource update at Telfer in the March 2026 quarter."

I think that explains what's going to happen.

The Havieron FS base case is depositing its tailings into TSF8 and will need continuous dam wall lifts to maintain production advanced capacity.

That's without Telfer Ore.

Well with Telfer Ore they're going to reopen TSF7 when ready which should maintain adequate tailings volumes.

What will happen if they have to move it cos of Deserts Revenge 🤷‍♂️

It comes right up against the base of the new batter for TSF8 and follows TSF7 batter out to the SE.

Maybe one for future planners to sort but the anomaly away from the dams is another matter.

Well the MT survey has defined an orebody at 1.5km deep for 3km strike.

I don't remember recommending Ggp to anyone. I don't need to they recommend themselves with that ever increasing bank balance.

I only inform on the fundamentals, a buy price of 210p is highly unlikely the shorters have squeezed the hell out of it and failed. We would get taken out before it would hit that price.

The management would have deemed to have failed big time if it went down that low and the only signs are of management quality in action.

Well Pete that was a puzzled Post no sign of Telfer free cash flow in it or any mention that continuing Telfer mine life will reduce the AISC for Havieron ore therefore increasing margins.

Suggest you rip that post up and start again.

Pages 11&12 of the FS does state that 2 approvals for the commencement of Havieron are still required and these include the 3 ponds. The last sentence on page 12 does say that Works approval for these 3 ponds have been granted.

A bit contradictory but it sounds like they don't want to start these without those approvals may be down to financial risks.

There are a couple of historic sites very close to these ponds so that could be another reason waiting for the approvals.

The Banking facility has been lowered by $200m to $575m due to the additional cask at hand.

Facility A is for $250m for 5 years

Facility B is for $200m for 7 years

$25m security

$75m rolling facility.

Interesting that Facility B needs the FID to be in place but also the Telfer MRE and Mine Life extensions.

Everything seems to be rolling into place for a Summer start to Havieron.

The Works to the Evaporation ponds have already got permissions so they may start in the New Year weather permitting . They are not actually described in the schedule but the haul road shows starting in April which was on the same works approvals. The Blind bores for the 2 original vents are due to start as soon as phase 2 approvals are received according to the schedule so the ponds will be needed very early on.

On the drill sections in the quarterly results they are showing proposed diamond drills aiming for the centres of the anomalies at EG. The current drill plan this year was to do the RC drilling and install collars not to give drill results but some were received mainly from the cover. These results were not the main goal and were immaterial to what they're looking for.

We need to give it time, there's a big prize down there. Ggp do not need a joint venture there.

Hi Toby thanks for that post, helpful. Yes they're intending to process 3.9mt pa that is the maximum they can get out of the crescent stope design. The 4.5mt would be the plant capacity.

I'm expecting changes to the plan once the underground drill rigs start to provide fresh drilling information converting inferred material to indicated and into the mine plan. As the mining goes passed the crusher position the inferred breccia volumes increase, so they need drilling out as they are in the mine plan and reducing the high grades.

There is a plan of sorts, I hope Shaun can tell us what this is.

There's already a mine plan left by Newcrest along with an MRE but that's yonks old. They are planning to drill it in the current year, Shaun stated they will be looking at what's underneath the skarn ie the source and its extent. It will be larger than it is, Newcrest left information on O'Callaghans North.

He was talking to the Americans about what they wanted to do with it. I'm not sure if that was Newmont because they have a Royalty on it, I think 1.5%

Go on to Google maps and type in Mt Magnet WA and just see all the open pits.

Then look at the last plan from the quarterly results and see the number of anomalies they're investigating, it will look like Mt Magnet but with cover

Hi Element yes I've seen that bit in the DFS about the hydrology it's very similar to the PFS litres per second.

That poster on Hotcopper certainly got it all wrong, especially the size of pumps.

Regarding the 3 aquifers the top one does drain down into the middle aquifer but that aquifer does not drain down into the lower LCA. The middle one drains out to the west before starting its journey to Lake Dora.

The LCA is ancient water it's been there a long time and studies have found some life in it, small crustacean type creatures. The main issue with the LCA is the pressures the water is under, that will require the 3 additional ponds to be built in the near future. There was a little piece in the FS of trialling mechanical evaporation equipment, could be used instead of the ponds.

Will have another read through that section again as there's a lot to take in.

When/ if Ernest Giles needs a processing plant it certainly won't be a big one.

Remember when I said "more is less" high grade gold will need less ore for the ounces.

Meadows looks as though it won't need a flotation circuit as there will be little copper.

This is why most of the Aussie miners on the greenstone belt haven't got big plants.

On the northern limb called Wishbone by Callum he did find sulphides present but they didn't look to be high grades. I don't think this will warrant flotation we will have to wait and see but the 2 parallel banded iron anomalies are very long and should turn out like Meadows hopefully. That is small numerous 1moz camps similar to Mount Magnet mines but undercover.

One thing I am still uncertain of is the processing of Havieron ores on one train and utilising the WDD ores on the same one.

They've made it clear that Havieron ore will take a lot longer to go through the plant as the grinding process goes through numerous times to get it to a finer powder. Due to this process the maximum tonnage reduces from 10mt pa down to 7mt on standalone Havieron ore.

At 4.5mt pa that would be the equivalent of 6.5mt Telfer ore so would only leave 3.5mt pa for WDD ore if kept separate.

Due to the regrinding process I'm not sure if the 2 ores can be mixed.

There is a big new flotation tail leach fascility to be built on the south side of the plant for the Havieron ore. The concentrate will be a better quality and the tailings water much less toxic.

There's a schedule on page 81 of the FS it's showing indicative years but broken down into months.

The haulage road is showing starting 3 months from the approval date.

Straight after the approvals date the final detailed design starts.

It's a very detailed schedule.

One specific item of design quality is the new highway:-

The new highway looks to be meticulously designed, numerous contractors were involved with using different specifications of the trucks used to design the road surface, breakdown areas , hard shoulders and turning areas.

It crosses the existing Punmu road , Newcrest had designed a traffic light system.

Greatland have decided to build an overpass, very sensible considering the risk of all these truck journeys.

The key is the approvals still outstanding, the DTM will follow quickly after the Final Investment Decision will follow with detailed schedules. I believe they feel that time line schedule in the FS will be achievable but who knows with government departments.

I've noticed that licence approvals around the Paterson seem to have stalled are the departments holding things up?
