Lot of work happening at Scallywag next year 🙂
https://www.ggpchat.co.uk/viewtopic.php?p=5069#p5069
I don’t believe it will be a slow year, from last RNS just one instance
“Further work
The targeted electromagnetic plates were all successfully intersected, with generally very subtle petrophysical property changes or structural / mineralisation zones detected.
This round of drilling has provided a line of geological observations across the prospective Black Hills Anticline (Figure 2) after it plunges under cover to the south. The development of a two dimensional section across the anticline is in progress, which when combined with the final MT survey results will inform a broader three dimensional bedrock geology model of the Scallywag area including structure.
The objective of this work is to identify the prospective Telfer Member (which is not geophysically detectable) where it lies within structural traps under shallow to moderate cover. Any resultant blind Telfer-style ore body targets along with any confirmed MT conductors will be targeted for drilling.”
They’re still confident of finding a Telfer type ore body hiding deep down in Scallywag.
Hi acechaser
Any delays passed April will cause huge difficulties for the contracts.
Byrnecut and others will have to start pulling out.
This is when the jv comes into play and they have to vote on taking it to mining
I can’t see anyone selling a mine with high grade ore and lots of it with only months away from the Ore.
I also can’t see Newmont splashing out more while they are trying to consolidate Newcrest assets into their own and finding $2bn of synergies. Their shareholders might put the shutters up.
Hi Gerry
A revision to the referral submission was lodged with the government department on 29th October and they get so many days to approve not approve.
This approval should be due in the next few weeks, if it is approved.
This has reference to the future mining plan.
Apart from the time for Newmont to check it over the FS should be due for release when NEM results come out last week in February but nothing is certain in this world. What is certain though there is a sunset clause in the joint venture in April, I believe it has to be released by then.
It won’t prevent the Decline from continuing.
It’s now Xmas 2024
What a year
The FS and DTM announced end February.
The Decline started again in Feb.
The Decline reached the ore in July and continued down to the first production level.
The infrastructure for production was completed in November.
Ore has started to come out there is a big pile on the ROM pad.
They’ve been drilling everywhere
A big target found on Eg
They’ve drilled deep under The London target waiting results.
They’ve drilled deep at Canning waiting results .
Shareholders got to meet Shaun and Mark Barnaba at the Town Hall.
A drill hits a target on Strickland.
They’ve drilled at Bromus finding mineralisation.
They’ve drilled a nickel target at Panorama, lithium target identified.
The share price has reached its all time high on news of First ore coming out
Ah what a year 🥳🍾💷💷💷💷
From 2021:-
Well it's Feb 2020 and what do we have.
A share price been languishing at 1.6p has just jumped to 2.7p on Sandeep Biswas Presentation in Canada. Coming out with words like "grades ten times better than Telfer" outstanding for the Paterson Region. "We are progressing this at some speed to start the Decline by end of 2020 together with a resource estimate.
Copper price languishing around $5700
Gold Price below $1,500 ounce
Cobalt Price $27,000 pt
PI's estimates ranging from 3-5m oz
Still open at depth, to the N, to the NW, E and SE
I wonder what we will have at Xmas 2022
Sandeep doing another presentation "Best results" to date
Shaun “ a world class asset we won’t let it go for less than an eye watering sum”
Copper price $8,400
Gold $1784
Cobalt $53,000
Ggp hold on to the 5% NCM declined
PFS and mining plan in place
Fully funded to production
An FS due imminently
MRE estimates of 6.5mozeq
Company estimates of 20moz
PI estimates ranging from 20-50meqoz
Ore size boundary’s expanding rapidly
Still open at depth,SE,E,N,NW and a new zone of breccias.
The Box cut complete
Decline over 1,000m in length
Production in next 12 months or so
A new joint venture with Newcrest on the Juri
Blackhills Saddlereef still growing
Rudall drilled waiting for results
Assets expanding around Winu at Oak Ridge
A share price of 8p
Broker ratings around 17p
Shaun’s option shares 25p and bought at 14p
A price rise forecasted
Ah these thoughts are what dreams are made of :))))))
Also found this on Ggpchat from Jecsggp after my chat with Liam on Brew with Bottle last April
“Interesting chat today. Lost count of the many different metals we are (potentially} dealing with across the portfolio of sites. ;)”
and I never knew about the diamonds at Canning 🤣
Hi Ace I just found something Paddy put together on my theory of a lower ovoid in 2021
https://twitter.com/paddygall1/status/1383377857599004675
I know people won’t understand this but I could picture the orebody in my head and was trying to explain it.
Paddy overlaid some maps, you can see in the bottom right corner the white area is a lot bigger than the other 2.
The sizes at the top is 650x 350m
Down below about 900m depth the size increased to 800x500m.
It’s a lot bigger now but depends what cut off is used
1200m x 800-900m is possible at 0.1g/t cut off
Two thirds those dimensions for 0.5g/t
less than 10% of those dimensions for 3g/t cut off.
So you can see that the MRE, FS, DTM are only for the high grade starter mine.
Hi Ace
Oh yeah so it does, not the first time though.
I think google AI picks up on number of views for advertising purposes.
I know people follow my posts from the reaction of folks who come up to me at the Town Hall.
Remember what I said about Yennarie where there are uranium prospects on the northern boundaries.
This is a piece from proactive
“But on the other hand, there’s uranium.
Here, perhaps is a harbinger of recovery.
In uranium, it’s been possible to raise money for exploration, as CanAlaska demonstrated in November. And in London, one rare sign of life has been the pending listing as an independent entity of the Athabasca assets of Power Metal Resources. As a project generator, Power Metal Resources was one of the only companies capable of putting together a mining IPO in London at any time during the past 12 months, when it span out Australia-focused Golden Metal.
So, if the Power Metal Resources commodity of choice at the beginning of 2024 is uranium, others take note.”

Hi Morwen
There’s only 2 company's I’m looking at in Africa at the moment .
My advice is not to invest in Africa something will come along and bite you.
Shares that have bit me inc Sound Energy, Kodal, VOG and Solo oil.
Sound are slowly turning it around.
Jlp are on the cusp but I sold out at 14p so was my only investment I’ve actually came out on top.
I can’t say I want to look elsewhere at the moment Ggp are likely to have a great run in 2024 and I’m keeping a very close eye on it.
I recently posted this:-
“In the coming months we have a further drilling at Budgiedown.
A drilling program at Strickland.
A drilling program at Skylar and Basel
A drilling program at Canning (Diamonds)?
(That’s my personal favourite Tabletop 1&2)
A drilling program at Panorama
A drilling program at Bromus
A drilling program at Pascalle
Results and further drilling of Ernest Giles
Then there is that little thing called Havieron 🤣”
There’s so much going on I’m starting to lose track I forgot these:-
Modelling and drilling Atlantis this is part of a system that stretches into the PRE jv where a breccia pipe has been found.
Modelling and drilling Paterson 8- this is right next to the Chicken Shack target and not far from Antipas new find near the new access route to Telfer.
Modelling and future drilling of Yannarie near the west coast of WA, this looks exciting adjoining to the north is Uranium mineralisation and to the south and east REE mineralisation, copper/ gold to the NE.
Modelling at Citadel Hill which is sat on similar geology as Antipas Citadel resource and Winu.
A lot of drilling to come at Ernest Giles.
A lot of heritage approvals happening on a lot of licences.
Looking forward to an exciting year.
Happy New Year Everyone 🥳🎺🍾
