I liked the look of Ernest Giles at the time, I can’t believe the luck of picking the right horse with Havieron turning up.
Havieron is an asset to dream of all the stars/ ducks whatever have all fallen in the right order.
High grade ore in first few holes.
A joint venture with a major mining company with a processing plant nearby that was due to be mothballed right at the time of Havieron forecasted production.
Super managent from exploration into production and an even better one now.
An asset that just keeps on giving.
An asset all other miners dream of.
An asset that attracts top people and investors.
Likely to be one of the biggest finds globally.
Many many years of production to come.
Commodity pricing rising strongly into First ore production.
Commodity demand at its peak during the first years of its life.

I don’t really need another share to invest in , I think this will see me out.

I’ve noticed that NCMs sections are showing ore 200-300m deeper than Greatland’s.
Drill 163W1 has pushed the depth lower and further east with 171.1m @ 0.68g/t.
That’s a consistent grade deep down and looks like it keeps going.
NCM stated “still open at depth “
So after 4 years of drilling it’s still open at depth and moving East and SE.
Looking forward to that big drill arriving. (Max depth 3000m)

The Red area shown is >1g/t.
This is just above the EB in the area linking it with the Northern Breccia.
Remember 4 drills proved up half a million ounces here with consistent grades, bulk mining potential

5.62m/day is end July
6.5m /day end June
6.5 m is a maximum before structural stability is required

Hard to say though whether more than 6.5m could be achieved within a day I’m not sure of that unless they can do 1.5 advancements per day .
Byrnecut contract finishes end of May so they will want to complete on time.

The Decline is at 1519m as at 18th
That’s an average of 5.62m per day from 12th October
My estimate the other day was at 1490m based on 5.5m per day

To finish by end of May is between 8.7-9m per day

Apart from Tama and A9 ( no significant results) Havieron is storming.
For those of you that listened to me and Liam podcast you would have heard me talking about the depths of that little section on the southern end.
The ore body was shown lower than the 3300RL level.
This now has been extended into the orebody below 3200RL on sections S1 and S2 that’s more than 1650m depth of ore over a bigger area.
More high grade infilling in the Northern Breccia and the link zone between the EB and SE crescent.

The growth drilling doesn’t seem to be finding much away from the body

Overall another day at the office for some great results.

Well it doesn’t actually it turns right over 100m before the ore body and carries on down the next spiral.
It’s the auxiliary drives included in the 900m in addition to the Decline in Byrnecut contract.
Phase 2 permissions are not obtained yet for the additional drives above the ore into the centre but Shaun says this is not a problem according to Paddy.
It’s this drive that going into the centre that passes through a 30m step up in the sulphides where first Ore will come from.
This first Ore will be sample loads sent to Telfer to get the train working at its optimum.
The ventilation system and auxiliary drives have to be in place before any ore is extracted. Health and Safety approvals are essential.
On receipt of permissions to go lower the Decline needs to go round the next spiral before a right turn into the first level Western front access drive.
There’s at least 6 months work to get the Western Front ready for ore extraction.
The ore will be taken to the Run of Mine Stockpile by the box cut and crushed in a primary crusher and the into a stockpile.
There’s not likely to be 6 months worth of ore stored in this pile, it will be far quicker than that .

Production start in my mind is Q2 2024 there’s so much to do after reaching First Ore
Sampling the ore will also take time to get the train working to suit the high grade coming to it.

A lot of companies say they will be going CO2 free by whatever date but it’s how they get there is the issue.
Some hydrogen producing companies though produce syngas which is like the old coal gas.
PHE have developed a way of turning old plastics into hydrogen, well they mean syngas.
Other companies on the stock market have technology that produces hydrogen but more likely syngas.
ITM electrolysis produces green hydrogen, its technology has stumbled of late where they are developing a multi stack system for major products and hit snags. Their units though for small scale production work well.
This is what I believe will happen at Telfer, Havieron, Ernest Giles and other isolated locations small scale hydrogen production with renewable electricity generation all around the mines and licences.
Another likely income.

I believe JCB have developed new fuel cell technology for their machines.
The University project is using existing vehicles to run on hydrogen which is a game changer.
The electrolysis technology to produce green hydrogen is still being developed and is costly at the moment. A lot of different ways of manufacturing the electrolysers , no clear technology is gaining an advantage.
Burning blue hydrogen made from natural gas is not an option as the carbon dioxide part of the gas has to be dealt with. Oil companies want CO2 to be pumped back down an oil well as it forces oil out, so more oil than expected can be retrieved but CO2 mixes with the oil making it more fluid. Some of the CO2 then comes back out within the oil.
Green hydrogen is the only answer but still produces some nitrous oxides which can be overcome with new diesel technology using Adblue which splits the nitrous oxides into nitrogen and oxygen

Next week’s drill results will be a step back to October with NCMs quarterly update.
A few of these were announced by Ggp in December but NCM will be issuing these for the first time.
Being deep drills I’m not expecting many new ones especially with Xmas in the middle.
Here’s my thoughts on the last few months of drilling.

I’ve tried to explain the 3D modelling as well , where you can single out the different grades of gold.
Where Brown is >2g/t, yellow is >1g/t and blue is >0.5g/t
You can see as the grades get lower more of the ovoid gets filled in and you can see where infill drilling needs to be carried out.
If the graphic was taken to show a >0.2g/t the whole ovoid would be filled in and this is where the bulk caving would be looking at.
At Red Chris they are using a cut off for 0.1g/t, if the graphics we’re showing >0.1g/t at Havieron then the ovoid would expand much bigger than most diagrams show and you can see these boundaries on the NCM plans which have been expanding rapidly.

This is the sort of ore Telfer is mining at this moment weak grades.
It could be what Havieron is mining in 40-50 years time

Saddlereef could be part of a Blackhills Dome that may embrace A27, Saddlereef, Saddlereef west, Saddlereef south, Swan, Pearl and A34 Blackhills south.
All the historical shallower drilling show similar results.

I don’t understand why people are fixated on getting assay results especially as we’re not due that many.
We have 3 sets of results outstanding:-
Juri jv they drilled A9 and Tama at PRE and one at A27
Scallywag 2 diamond drills at Pearl
Rudall 1 or 2 diamond drill holes

A9 and Tama do not look big targets
A27 could be a continuation of Saddlereef

We didn’t drill Saddlereef this time but they were there possibly a downhole survey like they promised to do 12 months ago.

The Ggp management of Juri was upto December 2022 , we don’t know if that’s been extended another year.
If it hasn’t then NCM may report these next week in their quarterlies, but I think Ggp will continue with the management at the moment as we still have another year spending NCMs A$17m.

I’m very keen to here results of any downhole surveys around BHD003 which found a lead/zinc anomalous deposit deep down
“ Encouragingly there is a moderate zone of Pb – Zn anomalism near the bottom of the hole, suggesting a second zone of geochemical anomalism and alteration is developed downhole.”

“ Results are encouraging, confirming the continuity of Au-Cu anomalism between the historical holes, defining an envelope some 60m in true thickness and at least 250m long in a down-dip direction (Figure 3). The zone is completely open for almost 1km in both the north western and south-eastern strike extensions with no other known deep drilling testing this structure.”

There are 3 lines of historical Ggp drilling BHD003 is in the centre line , these lines are 2,000m apart and last years results indicate they are connected forming a Telfer like reef.

There are lots of pathfinder minerals here in this system they just haven’t located the high grade system yet, but 003 did find good copper grades and weak gold grades.
There are a lot of historical drills around Saddlereef but few deep ones but they all contain some gold results stretching up into the new licence Wanman.

Saddlereef looks like the favourite to contain a future ore body , it’s big so will take time to find and may be a lot deeper than they have been drilling.
More likely to be a copper/ gold deposit
