86 days allowing 10 days at Xmas = 473m
916 + 473 = 1,389m total
Another 9 days c50m
Total till NCM quarterly 1,439m
(NB:- that is if the main gang were solely on the Decline and not other ancillary faces)

Sweden and Finland have a lot of rare metals.
Platinum costs a lot to refine , I think it’s around the $1,000 mark break even, so Rhodium and iridium are very important bi product of that process to make it economical.
Platinum is needed for the catalyst in hydrogen fuel cells but technology is moving on fast and replacements are being found

We already have a plant in place but you are right when solar and wind power is set up between Telfer and Havieron there will be more copper required.

Copper has had a remarkable week rising to $4.21 per lb from $3.80
NCM latest forecast was in the PFS of around 10,000 ton per year
Ggp latest forecast last March of 12,000 ton pa of copper produced

Therefore every $0.1 per lb the copper price increases equates to $806,400 to Ggp gross revenues, when they start producing

Net Smelter Return
I doubt many on here really understands what this phrase means to Havieron and its finances.

Cadia has $22 per ton NSR cut off
Havieron had $130 pt cut off

That’s 2-5% royalty payments of gross revenues less costs
To my mind the revenues pt are far higher at Havieron than Cadia, although at present Cadia has far greater tonnage.

These 2 mines are long life mines and the price of gold and copper have been reduced by a % to cover any mineralisation that is not economic within the ore body, so dilution factors don’t come into these calculations at this stage.

Ore reserve estimates for Cadia and Havieron for NSR calculations use $1300 gold per ounce and $3.00 per lb copper

Telfer and Red Chris open pits both short term life span use a higher $1600 gold and $3.50 copper price.

These are for Royalties NSR gross revenue calculations and not forecasted gross revenues.

Yes drill 83 and 84 found the Eastern Breccia deep down but when you go back up the holes you can see the mineralisation continuing up into the Northern corridor.
I was convinced then they were linked even more so now.

That drill came after that presentation so wasn’t on the list so jumped straight in at number 1 :))

HAD001, HAD005 and HAD006 are all very close to each other
001 and 6 were vertical drills on the same Easting but 6 is 50m south. Both were very close to the west side of the Dyke.
006 only went down to 838m and found 367.1m@2g/t gold equivalent
That sounds better than HAD 84 but this wasn’t an NCM drill, when they started drilling they introduced cut off values which broke the intercept up. It also included cobalt this is where cobalt peak value hit 4,100ppm that’s very high
The Congo has the best cobalt grades around the 6,000 so you can see Havieron peak is up there but whether NCM will go for it is not known at this stage but looks doubtful.
This is all in the first 2 levels of the Western front.

HAD001 is on the same northing as HAD 005 but 200m further east and tests HAD005 inclined intercept before it goes through the Dyke

Although HAD005 was very exciting it wasn’t our best hole but it’s still ranked 2nd.
Our best one came down from the NW through the Northern Corridor and deep into the Southeast crescent

That’s a World class intercept but the drill highlighted a whole host of intercepts in its long length.
My favourite though has to HAD84 342m @ 2g/t that’s just a stunning intercept

HAD005 one of Havieron best drill holes and it’s right in the middle of the First ore production in the Western Front first level stopes.
Let’s just remember what GH said about it

These stunning results represent a world class intersection as measured by total mineralisation in one drill hole in excess of 1,500 metre grams gold equivalent. Elevated gold and copper results persisted to end of hole suggesting the mineralisation continues at depth below the current limit of drilling, which is supported by the results from forward modelling of detailed geophysical data.
“The remarkable peak gold and copper grades of 211.3gt/t and 8.45% respectively are significantly higher than in previous drilling. Importantly, we have seen significant widths of copper well in excess of 0.5%.”
Super stuff :))

For paste fill to backfill the SLOS at Havieron they will be using Telfer tailings, from what I can make out the paste will be coming from 2 of the 6 Tailings lakes.
They will have been moisture tested and probably mineral tested.
Moisture is important for transporting it back to the paste fill plant at Havieron, too sloppy and it will be difficult to transport, too dry and it will be no good for the paste.
It is possible that some of the copper and gold in the tailings at Telfer will end up in the backfill at Havieron.

The blue colour in the Tailings lake is copper.
Recovery rates for copper in the Telfer West Dome open pit and stockpiles is only 52% so 48% is still in the tailings
In Zambia JLP are retrieving copper from tailings using a new heat free process, I would expect that’s something NCM will try to recover the copper in the future with the price increasing it will be too valuable to leave.
