The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Pandy2, just sit back and relax, short term movements inevitable, especially as there is so much demand. MMs need to tree shake / scare to gather shares in order to feed the next lot of buyers. This thing is real now, we have momentum and can see the finish line.
If I had funds available, I would be buying more as well.
My guess is that they didn't really need to raise these funds otherwise they would have raised much more at the same time. The II is most probably a key partner and wanted to buy a small stake or increase their position, we don't know if they already hold.
If AFC do need to raise, then it will be after earth-shattering RNS' have been released with contract details etc and after we are well past the 50's and 60s. Placing beforehand will break the momentum and they would be foolish to do so IMO.
"Hang onto your shares free float will be low trading 10% a day wait till warranty or deal hits the table then it will be 50% traded"
Very wise words, this will be played to the max benefit of the MMs - they will raise the sp high, then suddenly drop it lower to scare people into selling.
I can't play these games - so better just to switch off and check in later. Enjoy!
no worries TwoCents - guess the excitement was to blame :)
only thing to do now is sit back and enjoy the show - I remember the run up from 11p all the way to 58p in 2015 - that was based on rumours and MOUs, this rise is based on actual hard facts and progress!
Found it, I guess this was reported here already?
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/2019/06/23/apple-scraps-17m-contract-british-tech-firm-advanced-camera/
Did anyone see this or the original Telegraph report?
https://www.prolificnorth.co.uk/news/technology-news/2019/06/manchesters-nanoco-loses-three-quarters-its-value-after-apple
Now it turns out that the client was Apple, according to the Daily Telegraph. The US behemoth reportedly abandoned work on a next-generation camera in its iPhones.
Nick and co to carry out roadshows, generate PR and build up IR - these will be carried out slowly as resources allow, this will build interest and momentum over time.
So still early days, boom will happen but not today.

will the rocket launch? or has someone peed on the blue touch paper?
we'll find out shortly......
good point, do we know what the exercise price is? If its fixed at e.g. 8p / 10p then if I were him, I would chill(!) see how the sp does and slowly exercise them to avoid flooding the market.
RP - are you reading this you twat??
Trying to generate some interest with my first post :)

Wow - what's behind the rise?
https://www.boerse-frankfurt.de/equity/zoetic-int-plc-ls-01
Saw that - what a joker, if we can get £10 a seed the sp here should be at least £1.50!
Anyway, there seems to be confusion about Baller's affiliation - even Iofina state he worked for Shortline:
http://iofinachemical.com/about_management.html
but they seem to have taken the text from Shoreline Equity Partners:
https://shorelineequitypartners.com/ which is an un-related firm.
"a mid-market merger and acquisitions consulting and investment company in the United States."
Games or genuine mistake?
What's going on here?:
