I was highlighting the difference in valuations and how low ours is compared to Pexip. The thread was discussing valuations.

I'm already invested in Loopup, PEXIP not for me. Zoom is overvalued.

This was a recent new IPO listed on Oslo exchange.

The UK has never been one to properly value it's tech companies. I was reading that there is too much focus on profitability here as well while in the US stockmarkets companies are not penalised for being loss making as they are encouraged to gain market share which will come at the expense of initial profits you can see how they become so big that way.

There look to be more sales than buys yet price is holding up? Is there an explanation for this as I do not normally go into the workings of mms though this one is traded by SETS.

Are they really buys or is an order being filled? Don't really

Agree we should report it is a drastic step but he has been told to behave and has continued posting and even creating another id it seems same style and messages in that new id and then the new one says are we the same in one of the last posts lol!

Thanks rivaldo good to be here. A lot of people may not realise that there other ways of getting exposure to gold through drilling companies and royalty companies.

So we have a busy drilling company that is in demand and with its investments also a mini GPM lol!

Yep brilliant for a small company. No shutdown due to fears of covid and company seems to be managing it very well. Proposed future expansion in operations as well.

Kilimapesa losses reduced massively and importantly:

"Our efforts to secure a buyer or funder for our mining and exploration businesses at Kilimapesa and Anumso is beginning to bear fruit with multiple parties showing interest in the properties". With pog this is now a valuable asset I would say.

I'm happy with update. We are already profitable and cash is around a third of market cap!

One example but they've done this on other shares as well. You can see how they shift their position all the time. There's no real research here it's just click bait. At the time of the first article IAG price was 396 - later articles they recommend buying and in one article hold for 10 years. In another article they ask what would Buffet do. We know what he would do - sell. Lo and behold when they hear Buffet has sold their views change in the last link. Surprised they are allowed to post such rubbish.

I've now reported the 2 cs posters.

They are on Trustpilot if anyone wanted to leave reviews on the quality of their research don't all rush at once though!

Their research is very poor they make out they follow Buffet etc but we're recommending airlines cruise operator(s) oil etc during covid and then later saying sell!

I wouldn't worry about what they say. Investors Chronicle had us as a hold recently. That was before today's update and before any new contract wins.

I bought some yesterday at 72p. Good timing now by the looks of it!

Had come across this company a few months ago and while I added some gold miners I also wanted a different kind of exposure in a company benefitting from the gold sector and remembered this company.

What I liked was that while this company will hopefully remain busy even if the pog pauses for a while. Also liked its investments in miners.

Seems to be under the radar.

Due to today's posts came across this article good summary of these instant tests which can still take 15 minutes and have the known drawbacks.

They need to be very low cost or subsidised by the government.

Quickdraw18 - you're right there are extra costs. Whether those are considered or not by the Government in selecting contractors I'm not sure - tender awards for the supply of tests just have the headline figure when the award is made.

Mass strip testing hasn't been undertaken anywhere as far as I know. It would have no place in airports and the like where a certificate confirming a negative result up to the high testing accuracy is necessary for everyone.

I'm sure that AVCT if it made a good accurate product could do well financially perhaps even selling to the public?

However the idea as I understand it behind mass public testing is that it would be done on a daily basis or so and the cost would need to be very low to justify such an exercise hence the paper strip test in the link with a suggested theoretical price of $1-5. That would still be billions presumably for daily paper tests?

Such an exercise would require a lot of government expenditure in employing more staff and procedures and recording systems as I would guess positive results from strips would need to be notified and then a PCR test arranged to confirm diagnosis? So there would be extra costs to strip tests as well (perhaps not as much as lab based tests) than any headline tender award figure.

Anyway I hope you also do well on your AVCT investment but you know I'm biased towards Nova as it's the only testing stock I'm invested in at the moment.

Agree that the strip test may come out cheaper when all costs are considered but then it's considering the benefits

And the positive market response point. That's because we are actually making profits now and are a real business and we have to support our valuation and day by day it is being supported.

AVCT no offence to holders here, but I'm saying this here and not on their board, it is a company with promise only yet - if it doesn't deliver then it's going to have to prove itself from much lower levels see GDR.
