RE: Oh dear9 Feb 2022 15:38
for clarity, I asked the question were NPH still using the Clarigene test ONLY, nothing to do with testing services ie; labwork. The reply is this; so you can see why I didn't bother to mention it as it doesn't answer the question as it's irrelvant imo
Thank you for contacting NPH.
''We were using Yourgene lab up until November, but they were no longer approved so we now use MDNA, and all of our tests have the required approval''.
I then received this from their CEO which I thought was quite funny and total flannel and cover up as it doesn't answer my question about Clarigene . I didn't want an appraisal of the testing/lab work
''We wish to make a correction to the reply that was sent to you in a recent email as the term “approved” was mis-interpreted. The NPH Group has really valued the services provided by Yourgene during the pandemic and are a trusted provider of COVID testing to us along with other partners. Yourgene Genomic Services, COVID-19 testing service laboratory is a Government approved provider and UKAS accredited provider and we very much appreciate the confidence this gives us and our customers in the provision of fast turnaround high quality testing.”
I then asked again if they were using Clarigene and what I meant by 'approved'
''Hi, by approved I mean that it can be sold in the UK under the new CTDA regulations that came out last November.? I do not see the product on the CTDA approved list and as far as I know if it is not on the list then it can't be sold in the UK.
''All I need is clarification that this product has been officially passed by the CTDA to sell. I have repeatedly asked the company and I don't know why but have drawn a blank, which has put up a red flag for me that's all.
If I may ask, is your company still using the pcr test from Yourgene Healh''?
the reply was;
''I am afraid I cannot comment further and would ask that you direct your questions to the company. I am sorry that I can’t assist you.''
So you see when asked directly about the pcr test they run for the hills and pass it off! My problem is the test not the testing facilities!
