RE: Lyn Rees is a failure for Yourgene's shareholders26 Jan 2022 18:32
I have a theory that when news came out that all covid tests had to pass a new govt regulation known as a CTDA 'desktop review', all the companies set about sending their info in for approval. Now the govt said it would only take 20 days to get approval so I reckon Ygen kept selling tests as they thought they would get the nod inside three weeks, nobody would know. or notice.
However the deadline of 31st Oct passed and anyone without approval had to stop selling their tests on that date. There are some on the full list who were exempt so they were ok. There is another list that also applies, but YGEN don't appear to be on either list.
Ygen and many many others are all still waiting for their approvals to this day, and I don't think CTDA have approved anyone yet, which is shocking imv.
When NCYT. ODX. AVCT announced they had to stop selling their tests because of the new rules, I asked the company on their position, ie; were they approved to sell the Clarigene pcr test legallly!
They have totally blanked me ever since. I suspect they are staying quiet hoping they get the nod any day so they can then say ..yes we all approvals needed.. To me that is not the point, they could have been selling illegally for months, which as STAS said is dishonest. Some s/h will say so what, but I bet competitors won't be so happy about it.
I hope I am wrong, but as yet they haven't disproved it.. why not ????
