Natdan, I would worry more in what the company are not saying, not what I'm saying!

For me, and unless they can show they had CTDA approval from 1st November last year, then Ygen imo may have been selling illegal pcr products..
The company obviously know all about my concerns and have done for months., and done absolutely nothing, zero, nada, zilch, whatever. Is that good company behaviour??

Truro, it's quite simple, it has nothing to do with CE-IVD or the framework contracts. The pcr test is something completely different.
As from last Oct ALL covid tests not on the CTDA (have you heard of them?) approved list here https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-test-validation-approved-products
are NOT allowed to sell their products in the UK. Can you see them on lists provided?
Why have numerous other companies like NCYT.AVCT. ODX put rns's out to say they have had to stop selling their own products because they are not approved. They too don't appear on the CTDA list provided.
I have had it confirmed by the DHSC that if you are not on the list, then you cannot sell..
It is a new govt test called a ''desktop review'' and ALL covid test companies have to put their tests in for approval..So far ONLY the ones on the lists have been approved. and Ygen are not on it..period.
Go on ask the company yourself , see what you get.
I have put it to the company that imo they are selling these tests illegally, why haven't they refuted it??
Why have past customers told me they no longer use Ygen since last Nov because they are not approved.
Once again , don't get confused it's ok just because of the framework contracts, it's totally seperate.
DHSC told me if you are not on the list then it's illegal to sell in the UK, and what's more they have advised how/where I can take it further.

like every other PE 'investigation' it will go no further imo. Seems there isn't a test company out there that hasn't fiddled the data to suit. Who exactly is the watchdog and what will they sue for? As I said most companies will get done because they are all as bad.

Nat, if it's all the same with you I'd prefer it from the company. Actually the inference is that things are not legit as the evidence points out so far.

GLT, you're missing the point! I'ts not about how many test sales, it's about integrity, honesty, professionalism and all other things I expect from a company, let alone a PLC. Do you think it's right they behave like this?
I have asked a serious question of the company, are you legally allowed to sell the pcr test.. At this point they haven't replied that they are, that's 3 months and counting.
In fact all the evidence points that they are not.
I keep asking, why won't they simply answer the question?
If you are happy with that behaviour from a company you invest in, that's ok, but I am not!

GLT.. I believe the lab testing contract is totally different to the pcr test. Last year the govt put into place a new approval system for all Covid tests in the UK.

Every test has to pass what is known as a 'desktop review' now to be followed by lab approval too. It is designed to sort the 'wheat from the chaff' of all Covid tests so to speak.

As I posted earlier, I have a email from the DHSC confirming that only approved tests on the published list can legally sell in the UK.
As far as I can tell neither Ygen nor Clarigene are approved, as it's not on the CTDA approved list.

There are some exceptions, but I still don't think they are one of those either. I wanted some clarity so asked the company/Walbrook last November.
To this point they have basically ignored my request, ...not good!!
I have politely asked a very reasonable question, I should have had an answer. Ask yourself why they won't!!
I have emails from their old customers saying they stopped using Ygen last November because they were not approved.. Others saying they stopped using Ygen and now use another supplier, why, Could it be because of no approval to sell in the UK?

You say perhaps they are using Thermo machines and tests. Maybe they are, but why not tell us ? It would have been very easy to do so wouldn't it if that was the case.

If they are legally allowed to sell these tests , why on earth won't they confirm it, that's all I ask?
All my concern was they had a pcr test which was legal to sell in the UK.. They won't tell me they have. If they had wouldn't they have confirmed it? What's the problem in doing that?
Until they can confirm they are legally allowed to sell tests in the UK, from last November then in my opinion they can't.

Proof if it was needed..Received this from the validation testing team at DHSC, , clearly stating , not on the lists, then can't sell in UK.
Still waiting for an answer why they continue to sell.. or for proof of their approval/legally able to sell!!

I won't buy until they come clean and tell the truth and sort this out..I won't hold my breath, as it's 3 months already. What is wrong with them ffs!
