Truro, nice thought but I don't expect revs to come online that quickly, but you never know. One thing I am certain of is Ranger will bring in increasing cash for a number of years unless they get taken out, which wouldn't surprise me at all. The first speaker has some 50+ or so M&A in his locker already, hmmm! could be working on something as we speak.
Viede, the Ranger stuff is happening right now! You have to admit it's pretty good and likely to be the making of Ygen. It has attracted a lot of attention already, and it's disruptive tech and will only get better from here on in imo! It's telling that they showed the M&A activities and a little nod to what Ygen could be worth, even if you pare back the future revs to say £25/£30M.
ISATony, it's nearly back to where we started from lol!
It will really get some noticing when they get that other megalab signed up. The benefits are enormous with cost savings alone. What was it, current tubes are $8--10 apiece and they always use two. The Ygen EDTA tubes are $1--$2 apiece... so upto $18--$19 saving on one single blood test.. How may tests do these megalabs carry out a year, it's millions.. Now someone must be interested in that surely?
I can see Illumina + others being interested at 12/13p a share...mainly just for Ranger tech. Not a chance anyone will pay 10x as mentioned. Why would anyone pay 5/6 x todays sp?
after yesterday's show, is this worth more than just over £60m ?? GLT is convinced and he sat next to Dr Chang!
yes, tend to agree it might play out better to get some value out of that Ranger tech first. They say it's a 'disruptive' tech..be great if it pans out that way, and it does look the biz!
blimey, a 'stay' or halt to try and settle. Why for heaven's sake? They have been trying to settle for a year already! Cut out all the crap and extortionate lawyer time and fees and get on with it I say!
surely they have been chewing the cud for a long time now. Both sides know what the problem are. This can get moving really quickly if they both wanted it to.
I believe Poidster is on the money. They ordered it, knew what they had ordered, then as was happening with other suppliers tried to back pedal and come up with any excuse they could to get out of paying.
Someone or department must have signed this all off at some stage. They knew what they were buying even if the product didn't work as well as they had originally hoped. It was all that was available at the time and they agreed to buy it.
10x this year's revs will do!!
Ranger stuff will bring the riches here. Very impressed with it!
M&A has been rampant
• More than 24 deals and $9.0B of capital deployed in 2021
• More than 8 deals and $13.2B of capital deployed in 2020
• M&A valuations are running at 10x revenues or 40x EBITDA on an average basis*
• Many companies are flush with cash from COVID sales and are looking to deploy it
through M&A
Stas, how come so boring. Just the same old I take it? What did Scott have to say?
missed it too. Is there a recorded version anywhere? What's anyone's thoughts who were present!
though we have to wait a year for that to fully come through..A good start already ongoing.
one big positive at least!
'As a result, the Group's annual operating cost base will reduce significantly, by c. £5m pa on a like-for-like post-restructure basis'
